Hello everyone and welcome to challenge #33 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!

I had so much fun putting this card together. I love Spinner, the dolphin. He has such attitude. You can see the playfulness in his expression. And, yes I did give him a googly eye because I dropped a marker right on his eye. And as you all know, there are no mistakes in crafting, only creative opportunities, right? π
So here is Spinner asking Guinevere to go play with him, but she is taking a little "me time", so he'll have to wait till a little later. Do you see how beautifully the new line of Fairy Hugs stamps work with the Lavinia stamps? So easy to build scenes and tell stories π I used VersaFine Clair inks to stamp spinner and all the underwater foliage. I stamped Guinevere using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, because I wanted to colour the rock with copic markers. I also used Fairy Hugs glitter on her body and on the seaweed floating in the ocean. I have listed all the supplies below.
On the inside I used the same beautiful Aqua Watercolor Strokes paper. I added the birthday greeting and seaweed to finish it off.
I love the translucent Fairy Hugs glitter. Here is a close up. You can see the Orchid colour beautifully, with the iridescent sparkle, but you can still see the mermaid scales of her body. It's too cool to be able to glitterize (is that even a verb? π) an image without loosing its detail.
And here is a close up of the Ocean Fairy Hugs glitter. This is not the translucent kind, so you get a solid covering of glitter. Both types are wonderful to work with. They are super fine, iridescent and very containable which, as we all know, is very important π
Here is the list of all the supplies I used to make this card, each linked to the Lavinia World store for your convenience.
I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed putting it all together. I love creating scenes, especially if they're ocean kindπ¬
Now, it's your turn to make a project and come play along with us. Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.
NO DIGI stamps allowed.
The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display our Lavinia World winner's badge on their blog, and receive a $15 gift certificate to the Lavinia World store. Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers. Although Lavinia Stamps is from the UK, Lavinia World is a US based store that ships worldwide.
Also, please note that we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps. ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at the Lavinia World store.
