Fairy Stamper ~ Deer in the Forest

Hello friends and welcome back to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

As Christmas approaches, cards should all be in the mail by now.  If you're like me, though, you're still a few cards short.  This card came together pretty quickly so I think it will work well for mass producing.

I began stamping the deer and the pine trees.  Next I partially masked the deer and inking the sky.
When all the ink was dry, I used a stencil and Aleene's Glitter Snow paste to create the snowfall. When the paste was dry, I used my dies to make all the die cuts, embossed the white mat, and assembled the card.

On the inside, I left it very simple by just stamping my Christmas sentiment. This gives me space to write my personal message. All in all it just took me a little over 20 minutes to complete this card.

Listed below are the supplies I used to make my card, most linked the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Hugs stamps - Rugged PinesMini Deer, Pine Cluster
Distress Oxide Inks - Stormy Sky
VersaFine Clair Inks - Acorn, Pinecone, Rain Forest
Frog's Whiskers Stamps - A Wonderful Year

Other supplies:
Marianne Design - Merry Christmas Circle
Elizabeth Craft Designs - Snowstorm & Mounds Stencil
Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots Embossing Folder

Frog's Whiskers stamps and others from European companies are available at Fairy Stamper during special order events that the Fairy Stamper store holds every once in a while. The best way to know about these is to subscribe to the newsletter HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you will come play along with us and share your magical creations on our Facebook group.

Fairy Stamper ~ Wood Ornaments

Hello friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

If you have been following my blog for a while then you know that my favourite time of the year is Christmas and that I make Christmas cards, and various other Christmas projects through out the year 😀

This is one of those times ...

I've had this set of coasters sitting on my desk for a while now.  Yesterday, I decided to turn them into Christmas ornaments.

On this first ornament, I used the Fairy Hugs' Decorating the Tree stamp. I then stamped the star and the little strings with VersaMark ink and gold embossed.  The little ornaments were stamped using red ink.  I went over them with a Wink of Stella pen to add a little shine. To finish it off, I add a little snow to the ground.

For this ornament I used the Frog Whiskers' Pine Rest stamp set. I coloured in the cardinals using Polychromos. For the berries, I used a red Glaze Pen to add a little dimension.  I must admit that I originally thought they were pinecones and would have coloured them in brown, but then I looked at the original pic on the stamps, and they're berries😀  As a final touch, I added a little snow to the branches.

On this last ornament, I used the Frog Whiskers' Winter Chatter stamp set. To colour in the snowman, I used Polychromos and Ultrafine Sharpies.  I added a little snow paste to the ground, the little birdhouse and the snowman's hat.

I made all the back of the ornaments pretty much the same by stamping Fairy Hugs' Love at Christmas, and various branches from the Frog's Whiskers stamp sets.

Some general notes:
1.  I used StazOn ink for all my stamping on all the ornaments. I find that it is the best ink to stamp on wood, leaving a clear and crisp image.
2. I used Aleene's Glitter Snow paste for all the snow detail. Love this paste as it has just a hint of glitter and it is so easy to work with and clean up.
3.  Remember that the Fairy Stamper store has International Stamps sales events every so often. It is during these events that you will be able to buy stamps from companies such as Frog's Whiskers, Marianne Design, and many others. The best way to know about these special sales events is to subscribe to the Fairy Stamper store's newsletter HERE.
4.  I used mostly Polychromos to do the colouring.  In some areas I used the Ultra Fine Sharpies.  For some reason, Sharpies did not run but Copic Markers did. You can still see it a little bit on the Snowman's nose.  I used an orange copic marker for that.  Need to go over it a few more times with the white pencil.
5. To finish off all  the ornaments, I added a small embellishment made with two different types of ribbon, a couple of little gold bells and some gold wired string.

That is all for today folks. I will be making more of these, but I'm going to try wood chips next time.  I think it will add a little bit more character😀  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you will come play along with us. Our challenges go live on the first Thursday of each month on our Facebook group.   All you have to do is to create a project using your stamps, and upload the pic to our challenge album.  There is a prize drawn for one lucky crafter, at the end of every challenge. 😀

Till next time,

Fairy Stamper ~ Santa Claus is coming to town ...

Happy Friday crafting friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday Share.

There is a week left till Santa comes to town. Did you make the "Nice" list this year? Will he bring you lots of crafting goodness? I hope so and that you get everything on your wish list!
For my card today,  Santa is flying over the roof tops. I made a slimline card, using a premade background, to accommodate the height of the scene.  Lots of inking, stamping and fun in making this card :-)

I love this Christmas sentiment and since it is rather large, it fits beautifully on a slimline card.  I wasn't too happy that the sentiment alone made the inside look very blah, so I added a few snowy trees. This still leaves me plenty of space to write my personal message, but adds that something extra 😀

Now for the supplies used to make this card, most linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Stamper Stamps ~ Roof Tops
Studio Light Stamps ~ Winter Charm
Frog's Whiskers Ink. Stamps ~ Snow Trio Trees, My Christmas
Designer Boutique Stamps ~ Above the Roof Tops
Fairy Hugs Papers ~ Moon Light Night
Fairy Hugs Inks ~ Raven Black
Hero Arts Inks ~ Unicorn
VersaFine Clair Inks ~ Morning Mist, Rainforest
Distress Oxide Inks ~ Mustard Seed

You'll notice that there are a few stamps that do not have links to the Fairy Stamper store.  This is because they were purchased during one of Fairy Stamper's International sales events.  These sales take place every so often and the best way to know about them is to subscribe to the Fairy Stamper store newsletter HERE.  (Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and enter your information)

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you to create a project and to come join the fun. Fairy Stamper ~ A Snow Spell

Happy Friday crafting friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday Share.

There was trouble brewing in Fairy Land.  You see Santa is on his way, but there was no snow to speak of. How is Santa going to land his sleigh without snow?  This had the fairies very worried.  So much so, that Abbie, Topaz and Raven decided to help by getting together and casting a Snow Spell.

Judging by the gorgeous snowflakes and the soft, shimmering white, fluffy snow on the ground, they accomplished their mission.  Now all is well in Fairy Land as there is plenty of snow for Santa to land his sleigh.
Ha! Who says you have to use Halloween stamps for Halloween only? 😁
It was such a fun, quick and easy card to put together.  It does help when your background is pre made. I used a sheet of cardstock from the North Wind paper pack as my background. All there was left to do was stamp the witches, the good witches, in this case 😀.  I added a few snowflakes here and there to fill up the background a little more.  Then I masked the witches and spread a light coat of Glitter Snow on the ground. Lastly I used a little glitter to make the snowflakes more sparkly.

On the inside, I used the left over of the North Wind paper and stamped the sentiment.  I also added a few more snowflakes.  And that was that, card done in about 20 minutes.

List of supplies I used to make this card, linked to the Fairy Stamper store in case you want to go take a look-see.

Fairy Hugs Stamps ~ Abbie, Topaz, Raven
Craft Consortium ~ Robin Mischief (Snowflake)
Frog's Whiskers Stamps ~ My Christmas Wish
VersaFine Clair Ink ~ Twilight
Distress Oxide Ink ~ Speckled Egg
Fairy Hugs Glitter ~ Translucent Pearl

You may find that certain stamps, I used today, are out of stock.  This is because Fairy Stamper has International Stamps sales events every so often.  It's during these times that I buy stamps and/or dies from Marianne Designs, Lea'bilities, Frog's Whiskers, and many others.  The best way to find out about these special order sales events is to subscribe to the Fairy Stamper newsletter.

Fairy Stamper ~ Festive Aperture

Happy Friday friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

As you know by now, by favourite cards to make are Christmas cards.
I also love using fairy stamps and I love to use dies, so to be able to use both to create my favourite type of card  is just awesome :-)

This card was very easy to put together and uses just a few supplies.
I began by cutting out the poinsettia aperture and doing a little bit of paper piecing in order to get my red poinsettias with the green holly leaves. Next I used a pre-made background and stamped the sled and the skunk.  I then stamped the fairy on a scrap piece of X-Press It carstock, coloured it in, and fussy cut it so that I could adhere it in such a way that it looks like she is sitting on one of the flowers have a discussion with the little skunk.  I bet they are trying to figure out whether the little guy is on the Nice or Naughty list, because Santa will soon be here.  Jada is trying really hard to explain to him that spraying fairies with his odious smell, will definitely put him on the naughty list, especially when he does it just for fun!!! The little rascal!!! 😀  On the inside, I stamped my Christmas wish and a couple of holly leaves.

Here is the list of supplies I used, most linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Hugs Stamps - Jada, Wooden Sled, Skunk Set
Nellie's Choice Stamps - Poinsettia (for the holly leaves on the inside)
Frog's Whiskers Ink Stamps - A Wonderful Year
Fairy Hugs Papers - Galaxy (for the background)
Fairy Hugs Glitter - Translucent Pearl
Moonstone Dies - Festive Floral Aperture
StazOn Inks - Blazing Red
VersaFine Clair Inks - Pinecone, Forest Green, Nocturne
Memento Inks - Tuxedo Black (this ink does not run when using copic markers)

There may be a few things that you can't find in the store right now.  These are probably goodies I purchased during one of Fairy Stamper's Special Order sales events.  The best way to know about these sales is to subscribe to their newsletter HERE.  Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, and you will find the sign up box on the bottom right hand corner. During these sales, you'll be able to purchase a variety of stamps from a variety of international companies such as Frog's Whiskers Ink, Marianne Designs, Lea'bilities and a few others.

Fairy Stamper ~ O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree ...

... How lovely are your branches!

Good morning all! I hope today is the start to a great weekend!

Being Friday, it is my turn to share a Fairy Stamper project this morning.

As I'm sure you have guessed by now, my card today involves a Christmas Tree.
And just in case you now have the song stuck in  your head, I will put the rest of the lyrics towards the bottom of this post :-)

But now onto my card ...

I began by stamping the Christmas tree in Rain Forest green, but masking the tip so that instead of the star, I could place one of the Condo Dwellers fairies on the top. I stamped her using Brilliance Ink in Galaxy Gold.  Next I inked in the snowbanks and stamped the candles, the gnome and the few extra ornaments. All that was left was to add colour. I used copic markers on the gnome and candles, and glaze pens on the all the Christmas Tree decorations.  Lastly, I added a little bit of glassy accents to the candle flames.

On the inside of the card, I used a RoseWood stamp called A Wonderful Year by Frog's Whiskers.

List of products used:
Fairy Hugs Stamps ~ Decorating Tree, Condo Dwellers 2
Marianne Designs Stamps ~ Gnomes
Frog's Whiskers Stamps ~ A Wonderful Year
Distress Oxide Inks
VersaFine Clair Inks
Memento Inks

You may find that certain stamps, I used today, are out of stock.  This is because Fairy Stamper has International Stamps sales events every so often.  It's during these times that I buy stamps and/or dies from Marianne Designs, Lea'bilities, Frog's Whiskers, and many others.  The best way to find out about these special order sales events is to subscribe to the Fairy Stamper newsletter.

And as promised, here are the lyrics to one of the most beautiful Christmas Carols:

Fairy Stamper ~ Pinecone Christmas Card

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share.

As you may already know, my Christmas card stash is a little lacking this year.  So I've been working on some designs that are easy to mass produce.  This is one of them.

I've only made one to see what it would involve and how long it would take and I was pleasantly surprised. Not a lot of supplies, not a lot of time and I think it came out pretty.

On a piece of dark brown card stock, I stamped various sizes of the pinecones using VersaMark ink.  Then sprinkled Ranger's Super Fine white embossing powder and heat set it. Next I stamped the small pinecones in the corners (both on the front of the card and on the inside panel), and made masks for them.  Then I stamped the branches so it would resemble Pine Tree branches with pinecones :-)

Lastly, I stamped the greeting, sprinkled WOW gold embossing powder over it and heat set it. On the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Clair inks. First got all the green ink on the stamp and then dabbed a little brown on the edges. The greeting is a Rosewood stamp called A Wonderful Year.  I purchased it during one of the International Sales events at the Fairy Stamper store.  The best way to know about these special events is to subscribe to their newsletter.

All that was left to do was assemble it and it was done.  Oh yes, I forgot to mentioned that I added a little Fairy Hugs gold glitter to the pinecones so it would tie in with the gold greeting and the gold ribbon/bow.

It took me about 20 minutes to put it together and the heat embossing is what took the longest.  Of course, you can use the same design without heat embossing at all, by just using different coloured cardstock.

All supplies are be listed below, linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Stamper ~ Leaping Reindeer

Hello crafting friends, and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share.

I have a few cards to share with you today to show you how quick and easy it is if you're in a  pinch for time and need to mass produce Christmas cards.
All you need is just a few Fairy Hugs stamps.  Take a look ...

I used Leaping Reindeer, Wreath Builder, and Pinecones to make each of these cards.
Here are more detailed pics.  For the inside I used A Wonderful Year by Frog's Whiskers, also sold at the Fairy Stamper store, during their International Stamps sales event.  The best way to know about these special sales events is to subscribe to their newsletter HERE (scroll down to the very bottom of the page - you'll find the subscribe box on the right hand side).

For this card, I silver embossed the reindeer and used Rain Forest and Shady Lane VersaFine inks to stamp the holly leaves. For the berries, I used a clear drop of glue and then sprinkled it with Fairy Hugs Glitter Powder, Currant.  Added a couple of sequins and a greeting sticker.

Did exactly the same for the inside holly corners and stamped the Christmas wish using in Rain Forest ink.

I stamped the reindeer using VersaFine Clair Acorn ink and went over the edges with the Pinecone ink to give it a more defined outline.  On the corners I used the branches from the Wreath Builder set and the smallest pinecone from the Pinecones set.  Added a few tiny gold stars and sprinkled the pinecones with Fairy Hugs Champagne glitter.

I stamped the Christmas wish in Pinecone ink and a couple of the branches in the corners using Rain Forest ink.

For this card, I stamped the reindeer using VersaFine Clair Acorn ink.
Stamped the holly leaves and made the berries the same way as mentioned above.
I didn't have any red glitter paper so I used a 1.4" double sided tape to put around my cardstock mat and the used the same Fairy Hugs Current glitter to create the illusion of a red glitter paper mat.
Lastly I added a few red sequins.

Did the inside the same way as mentioned on the cards above.

Although I love the traditional reds, greens and golds for Christmas, I also love the blues, silver and white, so I couldn't pass it up :-) I embossed the reindeer and the holly leaves in silver and this time made sparkly blue berries to match the rest of the card. I used mirror blue cardstock to mat the image layer.  Lastly I added the greeting sticker and as a finishing touch I added a few blue sequins.

On the inside, I stamped the same Christmas wish I have used on all my cards, but this time I used VersaFine Blue Belle ink.  Also added a few blue sequins to the inside.

It took me less than half hour to make all four cards.
Like I said, easy peazy to mass produce.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you to create a project and come join the fun. Our challenges go live every other Thursday on our Facebook group.   All you have to do is to create a project and upload the pic to our challenge album.  There is a $15.00 prize for one lucky participant.
