Since Christmas is just around the corner, I made a couple of projects for this challenge.  Starting with my first one, I used Snoozing Santa from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and created this card.

I used a Google image for the background and a Silhouette image for the Christmas Tree.  The coat rack was created using the Santa's Coat & Rack die from Cottage Cutz.

On the inside, I created the sentiment using the Merry Christmas w/Shadow die, also from Cottage Cutz.

And for my second project, using the pre-coloured Christmas Poinsettia Lantern digi from Fred She Said, I created these tags.

I used the Silhouette to print and cut the images and to create the extra layer of poinsettias that I pop dotted for a little dimension.

I created the back of the tags on the Silhouette and used it to print and cut them.

That is it for today.  I'd like to remind you that Crafty Gals Corner will be taking our Winter Break during December, so we get to spend more time with our families to celebrate the Holidays.  We will be back in January with fresh inspiration for you.

We would love to see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 11 January 2026, to link your project to our challenge. Remember that although we're on a break, prize winners will still be picked and will be announced in January.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and may the New Year bring you all that makes you smile!!!

When I saw this gorgeous digi from Fred She Said, called Pumpkins & Sunflowers,
I went looking for some of my card base making dies and thought this one would show case it the best.

I used the Card Frame - SL370 die from Studio Light Essentials to create this circle flip card.

Orange and brown cardstocks are from my old stock from GinaK.  The digi was printed on photo paper.  The patterned paper is from The Duo Design Paper Pad - Bright Blooms & Trailing Leaves from Hunkydory.

On the inside of the flip circle, I created a mat using the Silhouette.  This is where I will write my personal message.

This card measures 6" x 5.5" when closed for mailing.  I'm using a 6" square card for mine.

And that is all for today friends.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope I was able to inspire you to come play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 7 October 2025, to link your project to our challenge.

I started playing with Christmas RoseChristmas Cardinal, and Winter Chickadee precoloured digi sets from Fred She Said, and before I knew it I had designed 8 different cards using Silhouette Studio.  I'm not one for mass producing cards, so you'll find that each one is unique although they all use the same 3 images. 🎄

I also used the sentiments that are included with the Christmas Rose set of digis.  The above cards are all 6.5" x 5".  All digis are pre-coloured and printed onto photo paper, then cut out using the print/cut feature on the Silhouette.

Then I made another 5 slimline cards, using the same images and the sentiments from the Christmas Rose digi set.  The Christmas Candles card was printed directly onto the cardstock as I could not get the image traced.  I used smooth cardstock and it came out beautifully.  The only difference is that it doesn't have that little bit of texture.

Now if you want to see each individual card, I have all the pics below, but there are a lot of pics, so if you just want to find out how to join our challenge, then please scroll all the way to the bottom of the post.  If not, then I hope you enjoy.  Since I always like to carry the theme of each card onto the inside, I have also included pics of the inside of each card.  So let's begin ...

Card No. 1 - using Christmas Rose

Card No. 2 - using Christmas Cardinal

Card No. 3 - using Winter Chickadee

Card No. 4 - using Christmas Cardinal

Card No. 5 - using Christmas Cardinal and Winter Chickadee

Card No. 6 - using Winter Chickadee

Card No. 7 - using Christmas Rose

Card No. 8 - using Christmas Rose with Bonus, which comes with the gorgeous candles.

And that is the end of all my cards for today. These have all been added to my Christmas stash 😀

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 13 August 2024, to link your project to our challenge.

I have two projects to share with you today, using the same beautiful digi from Fred She Said, called Winter Chickadee

The first project is a card I made using a file from the Silhouette store. I thought how happy it would make me to see this darling little bird chirping away, sitting on a branch of a tree just outside of my window.

This sweet little bird can be used in lots of different ways, so let me show you the beautiful tags I made using this digi.

I used a tag from Silhouette and resized to fit the bird image without having to trim too much off of it.

I matted it onto cherry red cardstock and stamped the To: and From: on the back.

I ended up making 12 of them.  I think that they came out so cute and festive that I'm going to make a bunch more.  After all, you just can never have too many tags at Christmas time.😀

That is all I have to share with you today.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 13 February 2024, to link your project to our challenge.

Using the Tulip Bouquet pre-coloured digi set, I created a variety of cards.

I used my Silhouette to cut out the Tulip Bouquets as well as the card base, making his a very easy card to put together and fabulous to make a few at a time.
Here are close ups of each individual card ...

I love easel cards as they stand up so pretty and close completely flat making it easy to mail.
I used a Butterly MS punch to cut out the little butterflies and also the butterfly stopper on the inside of each card.

That's all for today folks.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 13 June 2023, to link your project to our challenge.
