Foxy Valentine

Hello crafting friends. As promised I'm sharing the Valentine card I made for my son. The boy loves foxes, in fact when we were looking for his Christmas present back in 2012, I phoned around to find out about getting him a domesticated fox.  There were none at the time and since it was going to be a Christmas present, we got him a Basenji instead.  Maverick, the fun, doesn't listen worth diddly Basenji, has been a blessing in our home, and it's actually amazing to see the bond between a boy and his dog :-)

This card was made using a Silhouette file. In fact all my Valentine cards this year were made using files from the Silhouette store.  I can hear my  dies complaining from neglect! :-)

I'll be back tomorrow to share another Valentine card.

Crafty hugs,

Froggy Valentine

Happy Thursday crafting friends.  If you're not having the best of weeks, hang in there, it's almost Friday! Today I'm sharing the Valentine card I made for my little grandson.  Needless to say, for a 5 year old, this wobble head was a great hit 😀

This card was made using a cut file from Silhouette.  I adhered an action wobble behind the head of the frog allowing it tp swing to and fro. I cut an additional couple of flowers and placed them on the inside of the card so it all ties in nicely.

Till tomorrow, when I will be back sharing the Valentine card I made for my son.

Crafty hugs,

Lavinia World Challenge #16 - Triple Flip Card

Hello crafting friends and welcome to challenge #16 at Lavinia World,
where the theme is always Anything Goes!

I love interactive cards, so when I got this die, I just knew that I wanted to play with it using my fairies.

After putting the card together, I used a variety of Lavinia stamps to create my scene.

Listed below, and linked to the Lavinia World Store, are the supplies I used for this card.

VersaFine Clair Inks - Nocturne

VersaFine Clair Inks - Shady Lane

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed your visit and will make a project to come play along with us.  Although our theme is always Anything Goes, you do have to use physical stamps, either rubber or clear.

 NO DIGI stamps allowed.

The winner of the challenge will be able to proudly display our Lavinia World winner's badge on their blog, and receive a $15 gift certificate to the Lavinia World store.  Lavinia World offers the complete range of Lavinia stamps and papers.  Although Lavinia Stamps is from the UK, Lavinia World is a US based store that ships worldwide.

Also, please note that we are not part of any other entity or Facebook group that carries Lavinia stamps.  ONLY the cards posted to Lavinia World Challenges will be entered into the drawing for the Lavinia World prize. Also note that the gift certificates are ONLY valid at Lavinia World.

For more inspiration, visit our Challenge Blog and see all the wonderful and creative projects my team mates made for you.
We'd love for you to follow us on Facebook and Instagram too!

We now have a public Facebook Group called Anything Lavinia, where you can share your projects, interact with the Design Team, get inspired to create your own projects,  and ask any questions you may have about the wonderful Lavinia Stamps.  There are also challenges and prizes to be won!  You have until Monday, December 30, 2019 to enter your project in either the Facebook Album or on our blog.  One winner will be picked by our Designers.

Till next time,
crafty hugs,

Triple Flip Christmas Card

Hello and welcome back crafting friends.
I'm on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog today, sharing a Christmas card with you.

It's a Christmas Fairy Triple Flip card.  Now that's a mouthful :)  I love interactive cards and these are so much fun, AND they can be used for any occasion!

When flipped, you have messages on the other side of the rectangle panels :-)
It was also pretty quick to put together.  I used the Triple Flip die by Karen Burniston.  Here is a LINK to her easy to follow tutorial on YouTube.  After assembling the card, I used the Frosty Fairy Friends stamp and die set from Lawn Fawn to decorate the flipping panels.

I continued the Frosty Friends theme on the inside of the card by stamping a few more elements out of the same stamp set.

When I looked at my card again, I felt like I wanted to add a little more to it, so I grabbed the Fir Trees Border by Impression Obsession and cut it out twice.  After figuring out exactly where I wanted to place them, I adhered each layer using foam squares, and then trimmed the excess of the sides.
On the top portion of the card, I added another piece of the snow flurries paper and adhered a die cut made using the Santa's Sleigh and Reindeer die by Cheery Lynn.  I adhered it using mini foam squares.
I definitely like the extra decorations on it. What do you think?

Here is a list of the crafty supplies used,
each linked to the Dies R Us store  for your convenience.

I hope you enjoyed my Christmas card today.  Christmas will be here before you know it, so I hope that I was able to inspire you to use your dies, create a project, and come play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog for your chance to win a gift voucher to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of every month.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.
