Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello everyone.  Now that Valentine is over I can share some of my makes without ruining anyone's surprises.  So for the next few days, I will be sharing my projects with you.
To start, I would like to show you the treat boxes I made for hubby's work.  These are just small treats to add that lil something special to a regular work day 😀

I used a combination of files from Silhouette to make this box.  The center heart, on the front of the box, is popped up using foam squares.

This shows the side of the box.  I was able to place 10 different chocolates into this box - mostly mini candy bars and a few Valentine chocolates too.

I placed the same center heart on the back but this one is adhered flat.

And here they are, all 25 of them!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you'll come back tomorrow when I share another Valentine project with you.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge 273 ~ Anything Goes w/optional twist - Snowman

Hello crafting friends and welcome to our monthly challenge

The theme for our challenge this month is

~ Anything Goes w/optional twist - Snowman ~

I made 38 of these Snowman treat boxes for hubby's work and for our family.

They were cut using a file from the Silhouette store, called 3D Decorative Snowman Box.

I was able to insert 9 pieces of different Christmas candy into each one.
The opening on the top was a little too large, but I made sure to put one of the truffle chocolates on the top, so the other candy didn't fall out.

Although simple enough to put together, gluing all the layers and making each snowman was a little time consuming, but I thought the result was worth while.

We would love to see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 10 of February 2026, to link your project to our challenge.

Wishing you all a very happy and crafty year ahead.

Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello everyone.  Today I'm sharing the Valentine treat boxes I made for hubby to take to work.  They were pretty simple to make but did take a bit of time.  I made 30 of them 😀

I used a file from Silhouette to make these boxes.

The cardstocks are all from The Paper Studio.  The fake strawberries are from Amazon.  The Silhouette file does come with a lil strawberry, but I was running out of time, so bought these instead. 😀

I placed a little bit of red and white crinkle paper at the bottom of each box.  I sized them to be large enough to hold 10 pieces of Valentine candy.

That's all for today folks.  I have a few more Valentine projects that I will be sharing with you in the next few days, so I hope you will come back and visit.

Hugs,

Easter Treat Boxes

Hello everyone.  I'd like to share Easter treat boxes I made for our family and for hubby's work.

Due to the sizing I wanted, I mixed and matched a couple of files from Silhouette.

Each box measures 3.5" x 2.75" x 2" and holds 9 pieces of candy.

I was able to put a little bit of green Easter grass on the bottom of each box just to add that little something extra.  It also helped to keep the candy stay in place.

And are 36 of them ready for hubby to take to work.
Although a little time consuming they were pretty easy to put together.

That is it for today.  Will be back tomorrow to share another Easter project.

Halloween Treat Boxes

Hello and welcome back, crafting friends.
Now that Halloween is over, and cards have been delivered, I can share my projects with you.
So let me begin by sharing the treat boxes I made for hubby's work and for our Halloween table. We normally gather together for an early dinner so the littles are ready to go trick or treating at a decent time.  Our aim is for them to go trick or treating with a full tummy so there is less chance of eating lots of candy before bedtime 😀

All of these are Silhouette files. I made 32 of them.  It took a little time, but they were super cute and everyone loved them 👻

I was able to put 8 pieces of candy into each box, all Halloween minis of course, and a lollipop.

I'll be back tomorrow to share a Halloween card with you.

I made these using a Silhouette cut file. Soooo cute!  All cardstock and papers were purchased at Hobby Lobby.  I filled them with various sweets all wrapped in red, white and blue.  Everyone liked them, so mission accomplished 😀

Valentine Table Favours

Hello and welcome back to my last Valentine post of 2023. To be honest with you, I did not realize how many goodies I had made for Valentine this year until I started sharing them :-)
But now you can sigh with relief that it is over for this year :-)

I made these little boxes as table favours for our Valentine dinner.  Due to some unforseen circumstances, we all ended up together this year and enjoyed a lovely dinner with the kids and grandkids.

These little boxes were filled with mini Kit Kats at the bottom and then dark and milk chocolate Dove Hearts.  It was enjoyed by all and looked really pretty next to each plate setting :-)

That is all for today folks.

Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello everyone. I'd like to share the Valentine treat boxes I made for hubby's work.
They were fun to make and not very time consuming. This was important to me since I had to make 24 of them as well as all my cards :-)  This was also cut using a file from Silhouette.

They were filled with all sorts of Valentine candy, such as various types of  Hershey's Kisses, Dove Hearts, and mini Valentine Kit Kats.  Everyone enjoyed them very much.

That's it for today folks, I'll be back again tomorrow!

Blessings,

Halloween Dinner Table Favours

As promised, I'm back with my last paper craft for this Halloween.
I made these as table favours for our dinner table.

Here they are the six different characters.  I actually made 8 boxes, one for each of us.

The Witch!

The Boo!

Lil Franky

Count Dracula

Jack 'o Lantern Cutie

The Mummy Ninja

This little guy reminds of  a Ninja.  I used Silhouette files for all of these. They were so easy to put together.  On the inside, I added a little spooky grass and filled each one with chocolates.

They look cute on our table.  It's nothing fancy.  We usually do a finger foods buffet kinda dinner because the little ones go trick or treating while some of us stay behind to hand out candy.  We all try to sit and have dinner together in between all that :-)

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween projects as much as I have enjoyed sharing them with you.
I have one more, but not paper related.  Come back later to take a look at my little Cemetery Dessert Bowls 👻

Happy Halloween everyone.  Stay safe and have fun!
