5th Blogiversary Celebration

Hello crafting friends.  So glad you have a few moments to stop by.
We are celebrating Crafty Gals Corner's 5th birthday!  I can't believe it's been up and running for this long. I'm one of the pioneer members :-) and have enjoyed every minute of being on this amazing team!

Without further ado, let me get on with it ...

Challenge # 181 ~ Anything Goes

To help us celebrate this occasion, we have these very generous sponsors, who not only provide the DT with their fabulous, fun images but are also sponsoring wonderful prizes to you for celebrating with us.  There are seven prizes up for grabs with this challenge, so don't forget to join in the fun and play along with us!

Sparkle N Sprinkle

Prize ~ $15 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ The 3 Digital Images used by DT

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 1 digital image

Prize ~ $12 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 5 Digital images

Prize ~ $6 Gift Certificate

I have two cards to share with you today.
The first card was made using this beautiful and elegant Festive Lantern digi image from Sparkle N Sprinkle.
This is a Christmas birthday card so it serves two purposes.
I always wonder if people who celebrate their birthdays on Christmas Day loose out on a lot of their presents? :-)  But then again, how cool is it to share your birthday with Jesus!!!

For my next card, I used the Christmas Troll digi from Bugaboo Stamps.  My little granddaughter loves the Trolls movie, so I'm sure she is going to like this card, just as sure as she is going to point out to me that this is not the real "Poppy"  :-)  I used a Silhouette file (#110044) for the card layout.

I used various yummies from the Cocoa & Sweet Treats die set from Cottage Cutz. The sentiment is from Cardz TV stamp set called Christmas Critter Captions.  I just blocked out the "moo" part :-)  Love the floating snowflakes effect :-)

Well, I know that you are all busy with your Christmas preparations, so I'll keep this post short and sweet.
You have until noon, CST on Tuesday, 1 January 2019, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog. While you there, take a few minutes to look at all the cards our DT created for you to celebrate our 5th Blogiversary!  It would be wonderful if you could take an extra few minutes and left some bloggie love on their blogs too :-)

I will be back kicking off another term with Crafty Gals Corner on 2 January, 2019.  To celebrate our new team, we will have a bloghop with some prizes along the way, so don't forget to come back and visit :-)

Till then, I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with Blessings.
If you're travelling this holiday season, have fun but most of all, be safe!

Loads of hugs,

So much to be Thankful for!

Hello crafting friends and welcome back.

We have a new challenge starting today at Crafty Gals Corner hosted by the Crafty Gals :-)

Challenge # 178 ~ Thankful

Our very generous sponsors this challenge are:

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

OddBall Art
Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ $12 Gift Certificate

I have two projects to share with you today.

My first project is a design from Fred She Said, called Prick & Print Pattern Frame & Flourishes.  Isn't it pretty? While looking at it, I thought it would probably be a great pattern to embroider too :-)
This design file comes with the frame and the flower and fit perfectly with the Spellbinders Labels 8 die.  I used the Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 die to make my card. It was so easy to make and turned out just the perfect Thank You card.  The stamped sentiment is from Cardz TV's Many Thanks stamp set.

My second card uses an image called Autumn Fox from Bugaboo. I printed it on X-Press It card stock and coloured the image with copic markers.
Patterned paper - DCWV - Autumn Medley Stack
Brown and white card stock - GinaK.
Enamel dots - Recollections
I left the inside blank so that I can write my own personal message :-)

Thank you for sharing a little piece of your day with me.  I hope that I have inspired you to make a project to link to our challenge #178, Thankful.  Remember there are fabulous prizes to be won.  You have until noon, CST, on Tuesday, 20 November 2018, to link your project to the  Crafty Gals Corner blog. And while you there, take a few minutes to look at what my teamies made for your inspiration.

Also, don't forget that Crafty Gals Corner is currently having a DT call.
You'll find all the details HERE.

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!

18 July 2018

Christmas in July :-)

Challenge # 170 ~  Christmas in July

Our very generous sponsors this fortnight are ...

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ 2 Digital images

Prize ~$12 Gift Certificate

I've been wanting to make one of these "Impossible Cards" for a while and when I saw this cute BugSnowman by Bugaboo Stamps, I decided that now was the time.
To my surprise, it is actually a very easy card to put together. Nothing "impossible" about it😀

I used the cardbase file from the Silhouette Store - #267289
Image - Pre-coloured BugSnowman - Bugaboo Stamps
Navy Blue cardstock - GinaK.
Snowflake DP - Winter Wonderland - The Paper Studio
White cardstock - Neenah
Icicle Border die - Cottage Cutz
Trees die - Cottage Cutz
Sentiment & hearts - Winter Cheer - Cardz TV

As you can see, there is a panel on the back of the card where you can write your personal message.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog today, and that I have inspired you to make a project to link to our challenge #170, Christmas in July.  Remember there are fabulous prizes to be won.  You have until noon, CST, on Tuesday, 31 July 2018, to link your project to the  Crafty Gals Corner blog. And while you there, take a few minutes to look at what my teamies made for your inspiration.

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!
