Any Holiday Challenge at HIMCR - Challenge 227

Hello crafting friends.  I hope you are all having a great holiday weekend!

Our challenge for you this week, at Hiding in My Craft Room, is Any Holiday.
Since Thanksgiving is over, maybe it's time to start catching up on those last minute Christmas cards?

Our Sponsor this week is 2 Cute Ink
Prize ~ 2 digital images

When I saw this little cutie, I knew right away that he was going to look just right amidst a winter scene, and since I'm short on tags, I decided to turn this project into one.

Tag and tree were cut using the Cricut Explore.
All card stock, papers and ribbons are from my scraps drawer, so I have no info on them.  I used a wave crimper for the snow. The little birds are dies from Impression Obsession. The little green sprig is a punch from MS.  I coloured the guy with copic markers. I stamped the  "To" and "From" at the back to finish it off.
You have till 2:00 am on Saturday, 5 December 2015 to link your creation to our challenge.  Take a few minutes and visit the Hiding in My Craft Room blog to see all the lovely creations my DT sisters made for your inspiration.   Also, don't forget to visit our wonderful sponsor, 2CuteInk ,for some fun and adorable images.
Thank you for stopping by today and taking a peek at my card!

Till next time,

Super Scraps Saturday at HIMCR

Hello bloggie friends and welcome back to another challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room.

Our challenge #216 this week is to use your scraps.

Our sponsor this week is Stamp and Create.

The prize for one lucky participant is a $20 gift certificate to the Stamp and Create Store.

Here is my card for this week showing you how I used my scraps!

All card stock used is from my scraps drawer with the exception of the card base.  I used this cute image called "Nerdy Pencils" from 2 Cute Ink and coloured it using copic markers. The embossing folder is from Cuttlebug, called Script.  The stamped greeting is from JustRite Stamps. I thought this was perfect to give to my daughter her hubby as they are both heading back to college for the Fall semester.

Now it's your turn to make a project using scraps.  Remember that you have till 2:00 am on Saturday, 19 September, 2015 to link it to our challenge # 216 at Hiding in My Craft Room.  Take a few moments and visit our blog.  You will love the projects my team mates have made for your inspiration.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
God Bless

HIMCR Challenge # 198 ~ Super Scraps Saturday

Good morning, bloggie friends.

Today, we have a new challenge for you at Hiding in My Craft Room.
Our challenge this week is Super Scraps Saturday.

Our sponsor this week is 2Cute Ink.
The prize is 2 digital images of winner's choice from 2Cute Ink.

I chose this very cute image to make an ATC.
This is going to a very special lady that lives all the way in Poland :-)

Supplies used to make this ATC:
ATC ~ 3.5" x 2.5"
Cardstocks ~ BoBunny - my scraps drawers
Image cut with Cricut Explore
Grass - Fiskars Punch
 Tag Punch ~ SU!
Copics used to colour in the image.
Four leaf clover - Cricut Explore image
Ribbon and gem from stash.

After looking at various backings for ATC's, I decided to make my own and this is what I came up with.  In case you are wondering, I called it Good Luck Frog because this lady is busy with her vet exams.  Hopefully, this cute little frog will bring her loads and loads of luck :-)

I hope you like my ATC.  This was the very first time I made one, and I had fun thinking in a much smaller scale :-)  Now it's your turn to get out those scraps and to create a project.  You have till 2:00 am CST on Saturday, 16 May 2015 to link up your creation to our challenge #198 at Hiding in My Craft Room.  Hope to see you there!

Till next time,
