When I saw this gorgeous digi from Fred She Said, called Pumpkins & Sunflowers,
I went looking for some of my card base making dies and thought this one would show case it the best.

I used the Card Frame - SL370 die from Studio Light Essentials to create this circle flip card.

Orange and brown cardstocks are from my old stock from GinaK.  The digi was printed on photo paper.  The patterned paper is from The Duo Design Paper Pad - Bright Blooms & Trailing Leaves from Hunkydory.

On the inside of the flip circle, I created a mat using the Silhouette.  This is where I will write my personal message.

This card measures 6" x 5.5" when closed for mailing.  I'm using a 6" square card for mine.

And that is all for today friends.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope I was able to inspire you to come play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 7 October 2025, to link your project to our challenge.

Using the beautiful Pumpkins & Sunflowers digi, I created this fun fold card.

I uploaded the image to Silhouette, printed it on photo paper, and then cut it out twice in order to create a second layer and add a little dimension.  I cropped the image and printed out the sunflower several times in different sizes.  I used nine of them on the fan on the inside of the card.  I also added a smaller one to the top and bottom of the card and one at the back, and created a third layer on the front of the card by pop dotting a sunflower onto the original image. There was a lot of fussy cutting involved, but it was worth it.😀  I used the Inverted Corner Square dies from Hunkydory to cut the mat layers for the main image on the front of the card, and the message mats on the back of the card.
This card fold is called a Stadium Wave Card and you can find the tutorial by Sam Calcott, HERE

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 10 October 2023, to link your project to our challenge.

I can't believe we're almost half way thru September already, and having said this, on my neck of the woods it's still pretty much summer other than a few Fall flowers that are starting to bloom. So here are my Signs of Fall ...

I used the Fall Flowers digi set from Fred She Said.  On the first set of cards I made, I used all the layers and pricking patterns.  I was going to do some stitching as well, but thought that just the prick pattern was pretty. I used foam squares between each layer to add a bit of dimension!

On the second set of cards I made, I used just the flowers and made a couple of rocker cards.I used the pre coloured images of all the flowers on both set of cards.

That is it for today crafty friends. Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my card, and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us. You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 11 October 2022, to link your project to our challenge.

Fairy Stamper ~ It's a Fall Birthday Celebration

Hello everyone!  Welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share.

I went to Hobby Lobby a few days ago and saw a few "Pumpkin Scapes". I thought they looked so cool that I tried to make something similar as a card. 😀

I began by looking through my Silhouette library for a pumpkin. Once I found the one that I thought would fit the design, I cut out all the pieces in the different coloured cardstock. Next I cut out an oval in white and used a slightly smaller oval die to cut out the opening in the pumpkin. I stamped my scene on the white oval cut out, using a few different stamps and inks. Once completed, I adhered it to the pumpkin and then adhered the last pumpkin section on top. I cut two additional leaves so that I could do a bit of decorating on the inside too. Once the card was all done, I went over Julia's wings with a Wink of Stella clear pen and added glassy accents to the lights, the present and the flower in her hair.

Now for the list of crafty supplies I used, each linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Hugs Stamps -  Julia, Party Lights, Ivy Corner, Deepest Wishes
Fairy Hugs Inks - Raven Black
Memento Inks - Tuxedo Black, Rich Cocoa, Morocco, Bamboo Leaves
Distress Oxide Inks - Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you to create a project and to come join the fun. Our challenges go live every other Thursday on our Facebook group.   All you have to do is to create a project and upload the pic to our challenge album.  There is a $15.00 prize for one lucky participant.

Till next time,
crafty hugs!

How cute are Vlad 'n Mya? I loved creating this card using this image from SheepSki Designs.
As you know I enjoy using stamps and dies, so I was able to use this shaped die,
that I recently purchased, to turn this into somewhat of a shaped card.

I also used a few dies to add a few embellishments to complete the scene.
I left the inside blank as I'm not sure yet, what this card is going to be for ... could be a Fall Birthday, Fall Hello or just a simply a Thinking of You card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my card, and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us. You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 12 October 2021, to link your project to our challenge.

Dies R Us #157 ~ Happy Fall Y'all!

Hello crafting friends, can you believe we halfway through November already?  How are your preparations for Thanksgiving coming along?
Being the 15th of the month means that a new challenge begins today at Dies R Us.

Challenge # 157 ~ Happy Fall Y'all!

For my card, I decided to make a little mushroom house with a little gnome to go with it. This is going to be one of those "from our home to yours" kinda card, so I thought this would be cute.

After cutting the mushroom house and the gnome, as well as all the other itty bitty pieces, including a few pumpkins and leaves, I coloured some, shaded others, and assembled the card. It was fun to put it all together.  I think this mushroom shaped card is going to be well received.

As always, here is the list of supplies I used to make this card, each linked to the
Dies R Us store, for your convenience.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and sharing a little bit of your day with me.  I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month. Visit our challenge blog, where my team mates showcase their creations to give you a little more inspiration.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Before I go, I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store,  Didi Crafts, is now open. It has warehouses located in the USA and Canada.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies,  and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!

And now for my card. I made a twist panel card to showcase the very cute Willie Scarecrow from Digital Delights.

Crafty Ingredients:
Card stocks - mostly from scrap drawer
Embellishements - variety of dies and Silhouette designs
Scarecrow Willie was cut using the Silhouette.
I used copic markers to colour him

There weren't many supplies required to put this card together as the Silhouette did most of the work for me. I do like the way it came out though. Love the warm colours of Fall and of course this twist panel fold always makes a fun card.
