Challenge #7 at Cardz TV ~ Anything Goes

Hello crafting friends. Welcome to the last challenge in the Fall term of 2016

As always, our challenge is Anything Goes.
Prize ~ A stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps.

I have a few projects to share with you today.
I needed a couple of thank you cards for Christmas, so using the Winter Cheer and Snow Day Cardz TV stamps, I made these two cards.

I also wanted to share with you a pop-up gift card treat box that I made as a little prize  for a game our family played last night. I inserted a Starbucks gift card in the gift card pocket and Lindt chocolates in the treat compartment.  Best of all ... I won this prize :-)  How cool was that?   For this little box I used the Gingerbread Christmas Cardz TV stamp set.

Here is a quick peek at these wonderful sets that I used for my projects this week.

You can view and/or purchase these and other Cardz TV stamp sets HERE.
Now it's your turn to make a project and play along with us. Our challenges run for two weeks, so you have till noon, EST on 6 January, 2017 to link your project on the Cardz TV blog.  Remember, for more inspiration, please visit the blog and take a look at the beautiful projects my very talented DT sisters made for you.  Can't wait to see all your beautiful creations!

Merry Christmas to you and yours,

I made another Christmas card. I just love this little snowman. He's just the cutest :-) And this time I got to play with some new toys that I've had for a while and just hadn't had the chance to use them yet.

Blue card stock - Scraps
Tonic Studios - Merry Christmas die
Embossing folder - Darice - Snowflake Scroll
Memento Inks used to stamp Frosty :-)
Gems are from my stash.
The snowman, snowflakes and sentiments are from Cardz TV stamps

I used the snowman and the snowflakes from the Winter Cheer stamp set.

I used the "Merry Christmas" and the word "and" from the Naughty or Nice stamp set.

And I used the "Happy New Year" from the Big Holiday Wishes stamp set.

White and navy card stock - GinaK
Snowflake DP -  The Paper Studio

Anything Goes at Cardz TV ~ Challenge #3

Hello crafting friends. Hope you're all doing well.

We have our third Anything Goes challenge at Cardz TV.
Prize ~ A stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps

I made for this card for my little granddaughter.  Although she still loves her Minnie Mouse, she is also in love with Sophia the First and will be wearing a beautiful Sophia costume for Halloween.  It looks like our weather is going to cooperate this year as it's supposed to be in the 80's with no rain :-).  For my card, I used the Frankly Frightful stamp set from Cardz TV.

Sorry, crafting friends, but I got so excited making this card and adding die cuts as I went along, that I forgot to write anything down. The dies are a mixture of metal dies and cuts from the Silhouette and from Cricut.  If there is anything in specific you want to know, please email me and I will search for it and let you know.
I do love the way this twisted easel card came out and I'm really hoping that my little granddaughter will love it.

Here is a look at this SPOOKtacular and  fun stamp set.

You can view and/or purchase this and other Cardz TV stamp sets HERE.

Anything Goes at Cardz TV ~ Challenge # 2

Hello crafting friends. Hope you're well.

We have our second Anything Goes challenge at Cardz TV.
Prize ~ A stamp set from Cardz TV Stamps

Have you seen the awesome stamp sets that have been recently released by Mary from Cardz TV? If not, you really need to go take a look.  They are gorgeous and will help you make the cutest Christmas cards for your family and friends. And with Christmas just 71 days away, it's time to get making those cards :-)

Here is the card I made for this challenge using the new Gingerbread Christmas stamp set.
You can view and/or purchase this and other Cardz TV stamp sets HERE.

Isn't this gingerbread lil guy adorable? I stamped it three times and gave him different colours for his bow tie and buttons. I added a little glassy accents to give them dimension and a little shine. I stamped the gingerbread men using Brilliance Coffee Bean ink.  They look good enough to eat :-)
Card stocks are from Ginak Designs, DP is from The Paper Studio's Winter Wonderland paper stack.

What goes best with a nice gingerbread cookie than a cup of hot cocoa?  So I decided to stamp the cocoa mug, fussy cut it and placed it on the inside of the card.  Both the greeting on the front of the card and the sentiment on the inside are stamps from this same stamp set.  Here is a quick look ...

Now it's your turn to make a project and play along with us. Our challenges run for two weeks, so you have till noon, EST on 27  October to link your project on the Cardz TV blog.  Remember, for more inspiration, you can visit the blog and take a look at the beautiful projects my very talented DT sisters made for you.

Till next time,

Anything Goes at Cardz TV ~ Challenge #1

Hello crafting friends. I'm back today to invite you to join our first challenge of this Fall term at Cardz TV.
Mary has 3 teams, the Cardz TV Anything Goes team, which I'm very happy to be a member of, the Gallery Designers who post a card everyday of the week for your inspiration, and the Sketch Design Team. These ladies make a card using one of Mary's fabulous sketches, which you can find when you go to Cardz TV blog and click on the Sketches tab.

With the Anything Goes Challenges, you can create anything you want any way you want it :-) It can be any project with any theme.
I made this card for a dear friend who's now a very proud granny for the very first time.

I had so much fun using all the different dies to make this card. The background square is Anja's square from Marianne Designs. The Blocks, Lion, Giraffe and Pacifier are all from Cottage Cutz. The Heart Banner is from La La Land.  This card base was made with the heavy weight cardstock from GinaK and measures 5.5" x 5.5". I typed a poem on the inside that I got from a card I received when my daughter was born 26 years. I just love it and include it in every "baby" card I make :-)
And speaking of the inside the card, do you see that fabulous sentiment?  It's from the Cardz TV Congratulations stamp set. It's one of my "go to" sets. There are so many different occasions and I just love the font of this set too.  Here is a peak:

Now it's your turn to make a project and play along with us. Our challenges run for two weeks, so you have till noon, EST on 13 October to link your project on the Cardz TV blog.  Remember, for more inspiration, you can visit the blog and take a look at the beautiful projects my very talented DT sisters made for you.

Till next time,

"Glad You're My Dad" Blog Hop with Cardz TV

Hi bloggie friends, I'm so glad you could join us today for our  "Glad You're My Dad" blog hop.

So grab your favourite beverage, sit back, relax and enjoy the fun, inspiration and the chance to win some candy along the way :-)

Here's the card I made for my husband for Father's Day.

I used a stamp from the "Happy Days" set and put it in the shaker porthole.

Here is a close up of the porthole with the itty bitty beads I used. I love cards with a shaker element on them. They are always so fun.  I'm hoping that my hubby enjoys it too :-)

On the inside, I used a stamp from the Cardz TV Father's Day stamp set.
Other supplies used:
Blue Cardstocks - GinaK.
White card base - Recollections
Dies - Cottage Cuts Nautical Collection
Background Fishing Net Stamp - Our Daily Bread Designs
Twine and charm are from my stash.

Here is a close up of the stamp sets I used from Cardz TV to show you all the other wonderful phrases and greetings that come in these sets.

And, yes, you guessed it!  There is blog candy to be collected from my blog hop and also from Mary at Cardz TV.  For both, all you need to do is to leave a comment and to become a follower, if you're not one already.
I will be giving away this little bundle of crafting goodies to one lucky participant.  I will choose and announce the winner on Friday, 27 May 2016.

Mary will be giving 3 sets of Cardz TV stamps for her blog hop candy, so if you're a follower of Cardz TV, just leave a comment on her blog!  If you're not follower yet, then do become one.  Trust me, you won't regret it.  Mary always has the most wonderful and easy to follow video tutorials on her blog. Mary will use random.org to pick a winner and will make the announcement on Monday, 23 May 2016 on her blog.  Here are the three newest Cardz TV stamps sets ... look how fun they are and you could win them, just by playing along!
