When I saw this gorgeous digi from Fred She Said, called Pumpkins & Sunflowers,
  I went looking for some of my card base making dies and thought this one would show case it the best.

I used the Card Frame - SL370 die from Studio Light Essentials to create this circle flip card.

Orange and brown cardstocks are from my old stock from GinaK.  The digi was printed on photo paper.  The patterned paper is from The Duo Design Paper Pad - Bright Blooms & Trailing Leaves from Hunkydory.

On the inside of the flip circle, I created a mat using the Silhouette.  This is where I will write my personal message.

This card measures 6" x 5.5" when closed for mailing.  I'm using a 6" square card for mine.

And that is all for today friends.  Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope I was able to inspire you to come play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 7 October 2025, to link your project to our challenge.

Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round ~ O Holy Night

   Hello and welcome to this month's Christmas challenge at
 Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Our inspiration song for August's challenge is 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅯 O Holy Night 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅯.  This means that you can use any verse, phrase or word in the song to create your Christmas project.  Here are the lyrics of this song for your inspiration

~ O Holy Night ~
O holy night, the stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth;
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
'Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn;
Chorus
Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!
O night divine! O night when Christ was born.
O night, O holy night, O night divine.
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming;
With glowing hearts by his cradle we stand:
So, led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here come the wise men from Orient land,
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger,
In all our trials born to be our friend;
Chorus
He knows our need, To our weakness no stranger!
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King! your King! before him bend!
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is Love and His gospel is Peace;
Chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother,
And in his name all oppression shall cease,
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful Chorus raise we;
Let all within us praise his Holy name!
Chorus
Christ is the Lord, then ever! ever praise we!
His pow'r and glory, evermore proclaim!
His pow'r and glory, evermore proclaim!

While browsing thru all of my Silhouette files, I found this one that I thought was just perfect for this challenge.

The other great thing about this card, is that I was able to use my larger pieces of scraps.

Here is a view from the top of the card.

And here you can see if from the side.  I love box cards. They always not only stand out, but create a beautiful 3D look.

I created a greeting panel and adhered it to the back of the card. The greeting was cut using the Merry Christmas with Shadow die from Karen Burniston. I love that this card folds flat for mailing and fits into a regular business envelope.  Once flat, there is not a lot of bulk to it, so it's an easy card to put in the mail.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project,  and come play along with us.  You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at  Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Crafty Gals Corner #269 ~ Fill in the Blank - ..... July

 Hello crafting friends and welcome to this month's challenge

A note from Rachelle Anne Miller:
I am an artist & designer living in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia with my husband and three amazing children! I love to create and am especially drawn to all things cute. I've worked on children's books, greeting cards, craft supplies, children's room décor, tech accessories, and more. I love to bring out joy and imagination in my art and create something a little different to inspire and make you smile.

If you're one of my followers then you guessed it right!  This is definitely going to be a Christmas in July kinda card 😀  So using  Letter to Santa from RAM Stamps, and a file from Silhouette, I created this Bendi Christmas card.

I worked a little magic on the Silhouette and was able to weld the digi to the card.  Then I printed it again and used copic markers to colour it in, and adhered it to the card.

Here is a close up of this sweet digi.  I personally think it's adorable.

On the back I created a panel to write my personal message.  I cut out a couple of extra trees and adhered them to this panel to add a little interest.  The Christmas greeting was cut out using a die and shadow from Cottage Cutz.

 When folded flat for mailing, this card measures 7" x 5" and fits perfectly into an A9 envelope.

And that is all for today folks.  Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed your visit.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 9 September 2025, to link your project to our challenge.

Crafty hugs and best wishes for a fun and safe Summer!
(or Winter depending where in the world you're visiting from 😀)

A Money Tree Birthday

 Welcome back crafting friends.  Here is a Money Tree card I made for my son's girlfriend's birthday.  She loves gnomes and let's face it, who wouldn't want a little money tree in the backyard? 💰🤑

This card was made using the Stitch & Do kit number 220.  The gold accents are from a Birthday Sticker Sheet.

I love this little gnome tending his money tree.  I really wish I had one of them too!

I googled, print and cut, using the Silhouette, a few $100 bills.  I cut 15 bills and made 3 piles to have the necessary dimension to hold the easel part of the card.  When closed, this card measures 5.25" x 5.25".

That's all for today folks.  I hope I'll see you again next time.

It's a WOW Birthday!

 Hello friends.  Every time I make one of these cards, I always think that it will be last one because, as you can imagine, it's a lot of work and very time consuming.  But when the right birthday comes along, I forget about all that and have a lot of fun picturing the recipient's face when she/he opens their birthday card.  Such was it with this card ...

I used a file from Silhouette to make all required amount of sections to include the 75 candles.  I used another Silhouette file to make the daisies to decorate it.  The Happy Birthday greeting and the numbers are included in the card base file.  The ladybugs are little self adhesive 3D stickers from Hobby Lobby.

I think my friend liked it very much so it was worth the work and time I put into it :-)

So glad you came for a visit today.  I hope to see you again soon.

Hugs,

Another Stitch Birthday Card

 My mom is visiting from Portugal and loved being here for her great grandson's birthday. If you read my post a couple of days ago, you know that my grandson is crazy about Stitch.  Well I had to make a card for my mom to give him, so out came another Stitch card!

I used a Silhouette file for the card base.  I also used the Silhouette to print and cut the Stitch image 3 times.  Image was found on Google and was printed on photo paper.

By adhering the 3 images together, I got a more sturdy Stitch to put on the card.

Here is a side view.

I made a panel at the back to print my sentiment and it's what my mom used to write her personal message.

This tunnel card measures 7" x 5" when folded flat for mailing.
Our little guy loved his card, so grandma did good!!! 😀
It's all for today. Thanks so much for stopping by.

It's a Stitch Birthday

 My grandson loves Lilo & Stitch so I decided to make him this card for his birthday.

It was very easy to put together although there was a bunch of printing and cutting.  Thank goodness for the Silhouette  It just makes things so much easier! 😀  This centre fold card base is also a file from Silhouette. Stitch and the tropical flowers border were both images found on Google and royalty free.

I print Stitch onto photo paper 5 times and then adhered each layer to each other.  This adds a little bulk thus creating a little dimension.

For some reason the pic of the inside of the card is all blurry so not worth posting and since the card has been given away, I can't take a pic. But it was pretty simple.  I just cut out the same red and white fancy panels and adhered them to the inside with a stamped Happy Birthday greeting.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you'll come back soon for another visit.

Crafty Gals Corner #266 ~ Fill in the Blank - Adorable .....

    Hello crafting friends and welcome to this month's challenge

The theme for our challenge this month is

Since I'm short on Easter cards and Easter is just a couple of weeks away, I made a card using a digi from each of our sponsors.

For my first card, I used Party Balloon Bunny Rabbit from Polkadoodles.

For my second card, I used  Easter on Wheels from The Paper Shelter.

I used a file from Silhouette for each of the card bases.  The first card's base is design number 404111 and for the second card, I used design number 348017.  Both are box card formats and both fold flat for mailing. Both digis were printed on to photo paper.  Coloured cardstocks used were from scraps drawers.  Cardstock bases are both from The Paper Studio.  And before you think that my colouring skills have improved drastically, I want to let you know that both digis were pre-coloured 😀

And that crosses off "grandchildren Easter cards" off of my list.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 13 May 2025, to link your project to our challenge.
