Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello everyone.  Today I'm sharing the Valentine treat boxes I made for hubby to take to work.  They were pretty simple to make but did take a bit of time.  I made 30 of them 😀

I used a file from Silhouette to make these boxes.

The cardstocks are all from The Paper Studio.  The fake strawberries are from Amazon.  The Silhouette file does come with a lil strawberry, but I was running out of time, so bought these instead. 😀

I placed a little bit of red and white crinkle paper at the bottom of each box.  I sized them to be large enough to hold 10 pieces of Valentine candy.

That's all for today folks.  I have a few more Valentine projects that I will be sharing with you in the next few days, so I hope you will come back and visit.

Hugs,

Prize ~ 3 Sets of Digis

Using Valentine Gnomes from Last Minute Manda, and a file from Silhouette, I created this Valentine card.

I cut out all the layers of the card and adhered them together.  Next I cut out the gnome digi twice and also adhered the layers together, to add a little dimension.

I was still not too happy with the way it looked, so I created a black shadow for the image. This added to the dimension of the digi and created a little contrast.
I used Glaze markers to colour in the letters. It gives it lovely shiny texture that I could not capture on the photo.  I used Copic markers to colour in the rest of the image.

On the inside I used a heart from Silhouette, created the sentiment and print and cut it.  Then I adhered it to the red mat layer and called it done 😀

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I would love to you see you play along with us.  You have until noon, CST, on 12 March 2024, to link your project to our challenge.

I wish you all a very Happy Valentine's Day.

The Paper Shelter #581 ~ Something Beginning with "F"

Hello friends! Welcome to our challenge at the The Paper Shelter

Team A - our challenge this week is Something beginning with F.
(February, friend, fairy, frog, fantasy, etc)

My something beginning with the letter F  is Frosting 😀 Take a look ...

I used the Romantic Cupcakes pre-coloured image as my focal point on this heart shaped card, which was cut using the Silhouette.

I printed the image a couple of times onto photo paper. Then I fussy cut the center cupcake and pop dotted it on top of the original image, in order to add a little dimension.

The sentiment was generated using the Silhouette.  I added a few little pink hearts for good measure 😀  And that was it, I sealed it with a kiss and a hug and sent it to my mom!

I'd love to invite you to come play along with us at The Paper Shelter.  There is a $30 gift certifcate for one lucky winner!  In order to get this prize, you must use a product from The Paper Shelter.  However, if you don't use a product from The Paper Shelter, you still stand a chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

I hope you will come join the fun and share your projects with us.   You will find our challenge blog HERE.

Valentine Table Favours

Hello and welcome back to my last Valentine post of 2023. To be honest with you, I did not realize how many goodies I had made for Valentine this year until I started sharing them :-)
But now you can sigh with relief that it is over for this year :-)

I made these little boxes as table favours for our Valentine dinner.  Due to some unforseen circumstances, we all ended up together this year and enjoyed a lovely dinner with the kids and grandkids.

These little boxes were filled with mini Kit Kats at the bottom and then dark and milk chocolate Dove Hearts.  It was enjoyed by all and looked really pretty next to each plate setting :-)

That is all for today folks.

Valentine Treat Boxes

Hello everyone. I'd like to share the Valentine treat boxes I made for hubby's work.
They were fun to make and not very time consuming. This was important to me since I had to make 24 of them as well as all my cards :-)  This was also cut using a file from Silhouette.

They were filled with all sorts of Valentine candy, such as various types of  Hershey's Kisses, Dove Hearts, and mini Valentine Kit Kats.  Everyone enjoyed them very much.

That's it for today folks, I'll be back again tomorrow!

Blessings,

Valentine Cupid

Hello crafting friends. I have one last Valentine card to share with you today.
Not the last of the Valentine posts but the last of the Valentine cards :-)
I made this card for my daughter and her hubby.

If you've been following my Valentine series of cards, then by now you know that this is also a cut file from Silhouette. Love these pop up cards that fold flat for mailing. Makes it easy peasy :-)

Love Gnomies

Hi friends and welcome back. Here is the gnomie card I made for my son's girlfriend.
She loves gnomes, so I found the perfect cut file in Silhouette. I did have to enlarge it a lil bit.

Since with this type of card fold, there is no place to write your personal message, I made an extra panel and adhered it to the back of card.

Blessings,

Teddy Valentine

Hi folks.  Today I'm sharing the card I made for my sister-in-law. This card was being mailed overseas, so not too many layers or bulk.

This is a combination of a few cut files from Silhouette. Even the paper is one of their patterned papers.  Since my sister in law loves teddy bears, I thought this would be fun for her, and she did like it, so mission accomplished :-)

Foxy Valentine

Hello crafting friends. As promised I'm sharing the Valentine card I made for my son. The boy loves foxes, in fact when we were looking for his Christmas present back in 2012, I phoned around to find out about getting him a domesticated fox.  There were none at the time and since it was going to be a Christmas present, we got him a Basenji instead.  Maverick, the fun, doesn't listen worth diddly Basenji, has been a blessing in our home, and it's actually amazing to see the bond between a boy and his dog :-)

This card was made using a Silhouette file. In fact all my Valentine cards this year were made using files from the Silhouette store.  I can hear my  dies complaining from neglect! :-)

I'll be back tomorrow to share another Valentine card.

Froggy Valentine

Happy Thursday crafting friends.  If you're not having the best of weeks, hang in there, it's almost Friday! Today I'm sharing the Valentine card I made for my little grandson.  Needless to say, for a 5 year old, this wobble head was a great hit 😀

This card was made using a cut file from Silhouette.  I adhered an action wobble behind the head of the frog allowing it tp swing to and fro. I cut an additional couple of flowers and placed them on the inside of the card so it all ties in nicely.

Till tomorrow, when I will be back sharing the Valentine card I made for my son.
