Hello crafting friends. A new challenge begins today at Crafty Girls Corner, hosted by the Crafty Belles team.

Challenge # 153 ~  Anything Goes

Our wonderful sponsor this week is:

Prize: 10 Euros

Using Christmas Snowsphere from Alicia Bel, I made this snowglobe card.

Instead of using the image on a card, I turned the whole image into a card using the Silhouette.
I coloured it with copic markers.

I added Wink of Stella clear pen to all the snowy parts to give it a bit of sparkle.
I also added some glassy accents to the buttons.
The holly and berries are stickers by the Paper Studio.

On the inside of  the card, I used the Fancy Merry and Bright stamp from Great Impression Stamps.

I'm so glad you stopped by today. Now it's your turn to make a project, using anything you like, and link it to our challenge #153 for your chance to win our wonderful sponsored prizes. You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 19 December 2017, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog.  And while you there, take a look at what my DT teamies made for your inspiration this week.

Till next time,

Merry Christmas

Snowglobe Fairy

Hello crafting friends.  Welcome to this week's challenge at Crafty Gals Corner, hosted by the Scrappy Gals.

Challenge # 142 ~ Anything Goes

Our wonderful sponsors this week are:

 Alicia Bel
Prize: 10 Euros

Prize: 3 Digital Images

I needed a pretty card design to showcase the super cute image called Hada Renito by Alicia Bel, so I decided to use a Silhouette design called "Pop-dot" Snowglobe", # 153802.
It's such a fun card to make. It comes with all the different layers and once you cut them,  you adhere them to each other using foam tape to add dimension, thus the "pop-up" effect :-)

On this first pic, I didn't use the flash so that you can clearly see the layers. The shadows make them more visible. This was originally an A2 card size, but I resized to be 6.5" x 5".  I also cut out the trees from the second layer and adhered them to the front layer instead.  It suited my image better to do it this way.

I added lots and lots of sparkle which I hope you can see better on this pic. Dazzling Diamonds fine glitter from StampinUp was used on the trim of her outfit as well as on the frame around the snowglobe.  Then using a Wink of Stella clear pen, I added shine to her wings.  A fairy has to have sparkly wings, there's just no two ways about it :-) I also added a bow using double sided ribbon from the Paper Temptress and a few sequins from my stash.

I used the snowgloble shape with the snowflakes cut out for the inside mat of my card.  It still looked like it needed something else, so I cut another two trees, trimmed them down and adhered them to the bottom of the mat. The sentiment was stamped using Versafine Black Onyx ink.  Unfortunately,  I no longer have any information on the stamp set I used for the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by today. It's Anything Goes this week, so I would love it if you all linked your projects to our challenge and  played along with us.
That's all you have to do to stand a chance at winning one of our wonderful sponsored prizes.  You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 3 October 2017, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog.  And while you there, take a look at what my DT sisters made for your inspiration this week.

Happy Fall y'all
