Sympathy Card

Hello crafting friends and welcome.  I will be sharing a DT project for Fairy Stamper with you every Friday, so I hope you enjoy my card today and will come back to visit.

I'm sad that I had to make this card. It's for a very dear friend who lost her 90 year old mom. I always find it difficult to make these cards, which is probably the reason I don't keep any in my stash. The only thing that keeps me going when I'm feeling this sad is the thought that my card may just bring a very small measure of comfort to recipient knowing that I'm thinking about them during this difficult time and that I'm keeping them in my prayers.

Okay, so before I make everyone sad, let me share my card.

I stamped the image onto a 5" x 5" square piece of water colour card stock.

Next I shaded in the sky, using a cloud stencil, and Summer Sky ink. I wanted a little bank on the left side of the card, so I drew one freehand and stamped the two Herons.  I coloured in the image using my Derwent wastercolour pencils. Lastly, I added some of the beautiful fine glitter to the water.
On the inside of the card, I stamped a little part of the image to add a little interest, and finished it off by stamping the sentiment.

Here is my list of supplies, each linked to the  Fairy Stamper store.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you will join us on our Fairy Stamper Facebook group and show us all your beautiful projects.

Till next time,
