Hello crafting friends and welcome. I will be sharing a DT project for Fairy Stamper with you every Friday, so I hope you enjoy my card today and will come back to visit.
I'm sad that I had to make this card. It's for a very dear friend who lost her 90 year old mom. I always find it difficult to make these cards, which is probably the reason I don't keep any in my stash. The only thing that keeps me going when I'm feeling this sad is the thought that my card may just bring a very small measure of comfort to recipient knowing that I'm thinking about them during this difficult time and that I'm keeping them in my prayers.
Okay, so before I make everyone sad, let me share my card.
I stamped the image onto a 5" x 5" square piece of water colour card stock.

I am sure that this card gave much comfort to your friend, she will know how much love went into making it. A serene and perfect scene for a sympathy card. Hope you are doing ok xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Lena. I'm sure it brought comfort xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt’s beautiful, Lena. You’re right, they are hard to make. And even more so once they’re needed, that’s why I try to have some on hand, just in case...
ReplyDeleteOh I am so sorry about your friend's Mom. I have specifically made a few sympathy cards to keep in my stash, because they are so difficult to make when the occasion arises. This is beautiful Lena. I never would have known you'd added in the extra grassy patch. It's perfect, and exactly what the scene needed.
