Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round ~ Reindeer/moose

Hello and welcome to this month's Christmas challenge at
 Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Our challenge this month is Reindeer/Deer/Moose

Here is our inspiration pic ...

I've been spending some time in the evenings doing a little bit of stitching on my cards.  I love it as I find it very relaxing, but just haven't had the time to stich as much as I wanted to. I had completed this card a few nights ago, and after rummaging through my stash of Crafty Heart 3D image sets, I chose this one to finish off my card and add it to this challenge.

The stitch pattern is from the Stitch & Do Kit No. 159.  This cute layered image made me smile.  Can't blame the greedy lil guy ... that apple does look delicious, doesn't it? You can see that momma moose is thinking that she taught him better, but kids will always be kids :-)  I think I'd be a little concerned for my nose, if I was that snowman, though.  That carrot probably looks very tasty too 😁  This image is from the Christmas Mooses set.

Or maybe he's just a good boy and is just being very friendly!

On the inside I used the Merry Christmas die and the Shadow die to create my greeting.  Both are from Karen Burniston.

And that is it for today folks.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project, that falls within our challenge theme, and come play along with us.  You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at  Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Nutcrackers - Set 1

Hello everyone.  My sister in law loves Nutcrackers and made a couple of Christmas cards using a die she recently purchased  from CraftEmotions.  I love her cards and got inspired to make some of my own.  Problem was I didn't have a Nutcracker die.  While walking by the Christmas isle in Hobby Lobby, I came upon some very cute Nutcracker 3D stickers.  So here is what I made with them ...

I used an embossing folder called Christmas Border by Darice. It made the perfect frame for my Nutcrackers. I then matted them onto cardstock to match their outfits, stamped a sentiment and made all 3 cards in less than 15 minutes.  How is that for mass producing? Not bad at all, right.  And that included stamping the greeting on the front of the card and stamping the sentiment and holly on the inside 😀
Below are pics of the individual cards ... the red, the gold and the chocolate brown.

Each package comes with 6 nutcrackers.  I will be back tomorrow with Set 2.

Enjoy your weekend.
