Fairy Stamper ~ Gianna's Lake

   Hello friends and welcome back to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

On a beautiful August night, Gianna and Mr Frog are relaxing on Gianna's Lake, and enjoying a quite conversation.

I love water lilies. They're so pretty and delicate, and remind of my home in South Africa. We had a beautiful koi pond in our front yard.  In it we had Koi fish, pink lilies, white lilies and a Black Lab x Rottweiler, Sasha 😀 Yes, you read it right! Sasha loved spending her days just walking around in the pond. Never harmed any of the fish or the lilies as big and clumsy as she was. 😀  I think that was what she missed the most when we moved to Texas, no pond and no pool at the time.

So before I take a stroll down Memory Lane and bore you all to bits, let me tell you about my card.  I started with a slimline piece of cardstock (8.75" x 3.75") and stamped my images using VersaFine Clair Nocturn ink. Next I took my polychromos and gamsol and coloured in the waterfall, the water, the sky, and the flowers. I carried the theme onto the inside of the card by stamping one of the lilies and a couple of dragon flies. I stamped the sentiment using the same black ink for a clean and crisp image.  Once all this was done, I added a little glitter to Gianna's wings and to the dragonfly wings.  I should have made the lake water a little darker since it is night time, but this is Fairyland, and in Fairy Land, Gianna's lake has a magical glow at night y'all! 😀

Fairy Stamper ~ Star Gazing

Have you taken a look at the gorgeous new release from Fairy Hugs stamps? This really is one of my favourite releases. 

Here is the Fairy Couple, one of the new stamps, taking a little romantic time to gaze at the stars on Valentine's Day.

I began by using a piece of paper from the DCWV Stardust Paper stack. Next I selected all the different stamps I wanted to use and using the image sheet that comes with each stamp, I laid it all out. I find it helps to picture exactly where everything goes and whether any masking is necessary. I stamped everything using VersaFine Nocturne ink.  As a finishing touch I added Fairy Hugs glitter to their wings.
