Christmas Card Class at the ScrapShack

Hi everyone. Wanted to share with you the cards and treat boxes we will be making during the December card class at the ScrapShack.

On Friday, 9 December, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm, we will be making the following projects ...

 A pop up gift card holder with a surprise treat box on the inside where you can put chocolates, or any other small gift.  You will be able to choose your own papers, so you can make it for a girl or a boy. I have used fairies from the Frosty Friends stamp set by Lawn Fawn, but you can bring your own images if you want to make it for a boy/man.  These make great stocking stuffers. You can put a small bracelet or earrings for a little girl or a couple of hot wheels cars for a little boy. The possibilities are endless and it all depends on your recipients' likes :-)

Santa Pants treat box with matching washi tape to wrap the chocolates. These will look great on your Christmas table as a little treat for after dinner :-)

Then on Saturday morning, 10 December, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, there will be a 3D card class.

In this class, we will be making the cards shown below.  Even though all these cards are 3D, they all fold flat for mailing.

Class at the Scrap Shack

Hi bloggie friends.  Just wanted to let you know that I will be teaching a class on October 8 at the Scrap Shack in Friendswood, Texas. This class will be all about Halloween :-) 

We will be making this card. Isn't it fun? When you open it up, there is a surprise inside in the form of a Halloween scene!

We will also be making this box card.  Isn't it spooktacular? :-)  And the best part, it folds flat so you can mail it to someone special in your life! :-)

And last, but definitely not least :-), we will be making this Faboo-lous treat box. Not only is it cute, but you can fill it with yummy treats for your children, grandchildren or just any special children in your life!

September Card Class at the Scrap Shack

Hi everyone.  Just wanted to share the two cards we will be making at the Scrap Shack on September 3, 2016 from 10:00 am til 1:00 pm.  If you're local and want to learn new techniques and have some fun with fellow crafters, then this is for you.  Call the Scrap Shack to reserve your spot in the class.

So Excited!

Hi everyone and welcome back!  I have BIG news to share with you today.  I've been chosen as a card designer for my local scrapbook store, The Scrap Shack.  I will be designing cards for them and teaching classes, how cool is that? I've been doing a happy dance ever since I found out :-)  As excited as I am, I'm also feeling a little intimidated as I've never taught classes before, but it's definitely an adventure I'm excited to embark upon.

So to kick off this new adventure, I wanted to give you a little peek at the first 3 cards I made for a "Back to School" card class that will be taught on August 20th. I tried for a variety in these cards, so one is especially for the younger children in your life, the other is for the more adult ones (high school/college) and the other is for your child to give his/her teacher. This class will be taught by our lead designer, Karen, as I had already planned vacation around that time. You will learn new stamping techniques, colouring and shading, try different card folds and how to use metal dies. All supplies can be purchased at the Scrap Shack.

 

If you are local, you need to stop by and see all the wonderful stock of crafty goodness available at the store. There is definitely something for everyone.  Also, they offer various classes, so take a look around and feel free to sign up for a class or two :-)

Well, crafty friends, now I have to get busy making the kits for the class :-)
