Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 207 ~ For the Ladies!

Hello crafting friends and welcome back to another fun challenge starting today at Crafty Gals Corner!

Challenge # 207 ~ For the Ladies!

Our sponsor for this challenge is:

Moon Flower Digistamps
Prize - $10 Gift Certificate

I love all of MoonFlower's digis, but I especially love the Snowflake Princess. There's just something so feminine and royal about her ...

So, using her image, here is the card I created.

I made a centre fold card so showcase this beauty and used copic markers to colour her in.  I added a few tones of lilac and lavender to her wings to brake up all the blue.  I also added a few gems in the lilac/lavender tones to the centre of each snowflake.

Although this is not a very good photo, it shows you a little bit of the shine I added, to her wings and skirt, with a wink of stella pen. It really does look so much better in person.

I kept the inside simple by just stamping the sentiment and adding a few small snowflakes.

List of crafty ingredients used:

Card base - Silhouette - design #39775 - Lori Whitlock
Image - Snowflake Fairy - Moon Flower Digis
Card stocks - GinaK.
Snowflakes - Joy Crafts - Winter Wishes
Snowflake borders - Cottage Cutz - Winter Frost Border
Tiny snowflakes - MS punch
Stamp - Cardz TV - Big Holiday Wishes
Gems - Recollections

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you liked my card and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us.  You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 9 June 2020, to link your card to our challenge.

Stay safe and healthy!

It's Fancy Folds at Crafty Gals Corner

Hello crafting friends and welcome back to another fun challenge starting today at Crafty Gals Corner!

Challenge # 192 ~ Fancy Fold

Our wonderful sponsor for this challenge is:

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

MoonFlower has gorgeous digis and it's like each one of them tells a story. When I saw this beautiful Sakura Maiden, I knew exactly what type of fancy fold I wanted to use to showcase her beauty.

This is a double diamond fold card design purchased from the Silhouette store - design #155185.  The pink cardstock is from GinaK.   I printed the image on X-PressIt cardstock and coloured it using copic markers.   The design paper is from a "Oriental Origami" paper pack.  The pearls are from Marianne Designs and the butterflies were punched out using a Martha Stewart punch.

As you can see, it folds beautiful for mailing. This is a 5" x 5" card that folds flat to fit in a 5.5" x 5.5" envelope.  It may require a little extra postage, depending on where you're mailing it to, because it is more than a 1/4" thick.

Well, crafting friends, I hope you liked my card and feel inspired
to get crafty and come play along with us.  You have till 12:00 pm CST on 4 June 2019, to link your card to our challenge.

I would like to play along with the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiment Designs - Anything Goes
Die Cut Divas - Flowers All Year Round in May
Dream Valley Challenges - Only Girls Allowed
A Gem of a Challenge - Anything Goes

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!
