Fairy Stamper ~ More Faux Pyrography Tags

Hello friends and welcome back to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

I've tried my hand at making more faux pyrography tags. Some came out pretty, others ... well I need a lot more practice :-)

Not much to tell. I will link to the tutorial video I followed, by Sandy Allnock.
The list of supplies I used are right after all the pics.  I purchased these unfinished wood ornaments on Amazon.  All the ribbons are from Michaels.

List of supplies used:
Marianne Designs - Polar Ice, Tiny's Pinetrees
Studio Light - Winter Charm
Distress Oxide ink - Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso
VersaFine ink - Onyx Black

The Marianne Design and Studio Light stamps were purchased during an International Stamps Special Order event that the Fairy Stamper store holds every once in a while. The best way to know about these is to subscribe to their newsletter HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you will come join us and share your magical creations on our Facebook group.

Till next time,

Fairy Stamper ~ A Birthday Cocktail

Hello friends and welcome back to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!

I have one of the birthday cards I made for my daughter's birthday.  And yes, I actually made 3 because I was commissioned by my mom and son to make a card for her πŸ˜€

This was one of those stamps that called my name as I was browsing thru one of the European Stamps sales events that Fairy Stamper holds every so often.  The best way to know about these special order sales events is to subscribe to their newsletter HERE.

Sometimes, a fancy card fold, a few dies and one stamp is all it takes to make a card πŸ˜€
I coloured in the image using copic markers.  For the card fold, I followed a tutorial by Sam Calcott from Mixed Up Crafters.  The stamp I used is called Dolphin Cocktail and it is from Studio Light, designed by Laurens Van Gurp.  During the last European Stamps sales event, there were quite a few of these new stamps by Laurens Van Gurp, all with a tropical "flavour". πŸ˜€  The two greeting stamps I was going to use were Birthday Wishes and Deepest Wishes, both Fairy Hugs stamps.  Unfortunately, the two diamonds came out a little smaller than I expected, so I had to look thru my stash of stamps to find something that would fit. The patterned paper was also purchased from Fairy Stamper a long time ago.  It is from a paper pad called CΓ΄te d'Azur and it is from Marianne Designs.

As you know I love anything and everything tropical or/and nautical so I had a lot of fun putting this card together.  And the best part ... my daughter also loves anything and everything tropical or/and nautical.  I guess the apple did not fall far from the tree in this case πŸ˜€  But then hubby/dad feels the same way, so it's in the genes 😁

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope you will come play along with us and share your magical projects on our Facebook group.

Till next time,
crafty hugs!

Fairy Stamper ~ Santa Claus is coming to town ...

Happy Friday crafting friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday Share.

There is a week left till Santa comes to town. Did you make the "Nice" list this year? Will he bring you lots of crafting goodness? I hope so and that you get everything on your wish list!
For my card today,  Santa is flying over the roof tops. I made a slimline card, using a premade background, to accommodate the height of the scene.  Lots of inking, stamping and fun in making this card :-)

I love this Christmas sentiment and since it is rather large, it fits beautifully on a slimline card.  I wasn't too happy that the sentiment alone made the inside look very blah, so I added a few snowy trees. This still leaves me plenty of space to write my personal message, but adds that something extra πŸ˜€

Now for the supplies used to make this card, most linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Stamper Stamps ~ Roof Tops
Studio Light Stamps ~ Winter Charm
Frog's Whiskers Ink. Stamps ~ Snow Trio Trees, My Christmas
Designer Boutique Stamps ~ Above the Roof Tops
Fairy Hugs Papers ~ Moon Light Night
Fairy Hugs Inks ~ Raven Black
Hero Arts Inks ~ Unicorn
VersaFine Clair Inks ~ Morning Mist, Rainforest
Distress Oxide Inks ~ Mustard Seed

You'll notice that there are a few stamps that do not have links to the Fairy Stamper store.  This is because they were purchased during one of Fairy Stamper's International sales events.  These sales take place every so often and the best way to know about them is to subscribe to the Fairy Stamper store newsletter HERE.  (Scroll down to the very bottom of the page and enter your information)

Fairy Stamper ~ Figure Skating Performance

Hello crafting friends and welcome to my Figure Skating show on this wonderful Friday.

Isn't Arabella so talented and elegant? She is putting on a show for her snowmen friends and they decided to play the music for her.  The bunnies can't stop talking about the beauty of her dress and wings. Oh what a show it's going to be!

I began by tearing a piece of copy paper and using it to ink the snowbank.  Next I stamped the row of trees in the background and used he same piece of paper to make very light snowbanks here and there so the landscape didn't look too blah πŸ˜€ I inked in the sky using distress oxide inks and a blending brush. Once the background was complete, I stamped Arabella, the moose and Bob and Fred, the musical snowmen, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  In this case, having a MISTI helped. I was able to stamp the images several times until I got perfect solid black images.  Normally for silhouette stamping I use either Fairy Hugs ink or VersaFine ink, but I wanted to use my copic markers and I knew that with using Memento ink, the colours would not run.  So that is what I did next, I used copic markers to add colour to Arabella and the snowmen.  Lastly I stamped the bunnies using VersaFine Clair ink for juicy coverage in one go πŸ˜€

On the inside I stamped the sentiment and Louis, the remaining musical snowman.  In case you're wondering, I often give my snowmen names, but no worries I have listed their proper names in the supply list below. πŸ˜€

And here it is, the list of  the supplies I used to make my card, each linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Hugs Stamps ~ Arabella, Love at Christmas
Studio Light Stamps ~ Winter Charm
Distress Oxide Inks ~ Stormy Sky, Weathered Wood
VersaFine Clair Inks ~ Pinecone
