Fairy Stamper ~ Figure Skating Performance

Hello crafting friends and welcome to my Figure Skating show on this wonderful Friday.

Isn't Arabella so talented and elegant? She is putting on a show for her snowmen friends and they decided to play the music for her.  The bunnies can't stop talking about the beauty of her dress and wings. Oh what a show it's going to be!

I began by tearing a piece of copy paper and using it to ink the snowbank.  Next I stamped the row of trees in the background and used he same piece of paper to make very light snowbanks here and there so the landscape didn't look too blah 😀 I inked in the sky using distress oxide inks and a blending brush. Once the background was complete, I stamped Arabella, the moose and Bob and Fred, the musical snowmen, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  In this case, having a MISTI helped. I was able to stamp the images several times until I got perfect solid black images.  Normally for silhouette stamping I use either Fairy Hugs ink or VersaFine ink, but I wanted to use my copic markers and I knew that with using Memento ink, the colours would not run.  So that is what I did next, I used copic markers to add colour to Arabella and the snowmen.  Lastly I stamped the bunnies using VersaFine Clair ink for juicy coverage in one go 😀

On the inside I stamped the sentiment and Louis, the remaining musical snowman.  In case you're wondering, I often give my snowmen names, but no worries I have listed their proper names in the supply list below. 😀

And here it is, the list of  the supplies I used to make my card, each linked to the Fairy Stamper store, for your convenience.

Fairy Hugs Stamps ~ Arabella, Love at Christmas
Studio Light Stamps ~ Winter Charm
Distress Oxide Inks ~ Stormy Sky, Weathered Wood
VersaFine Clair Inks ~ Pinecone
Memento Ink ~ Tuxedo Black

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I have inspired you to create a project and to come join the fun. Our challenges go live every other Thursday on our Facebook group.   All you have to do is to create a project and upload the pic to our challenge album.  There is a $15.00 prize for one lucky crafter 😀

Till next time,
