Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #216 ~ Add a Heart!

Hello crafting friends and welcome back to another fun challenge starting
 today at Crafty Gals Corner

Challenge # 216 ~ Add a Heart!

Our wonderful sponsors for this challenge are ...
(listed in alphabetical order)

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Single Digital Images

I created this cute easel card using the  Penguin Digi #00012 from Cute as a Button.

I used a design file from the Silhouette store and resized to fit my image.
This card measures 6.5" by 5" and fits into a regular A7 envelope.
The cardstock is all from GinaK, the patterned paper is from Divinity Designs, and the sentiment was computer generated.  I used Copic markers to colour in the image.
As a finishing touch, I added glassy accents to all the hearts. The look very pretty with the shiny dimension :-)

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my card, and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us. You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 9 March 2021, to link your project to our challenge.

Stay safe and healthy!

Colour of Love
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images used by the DT

I have two projects to share with you today.

The first is from Colour of Love. For this card, I used the beautiful Snow Princess
I used a design from Silhouette, #267899 by Lori Whitlock, to make my card base.
The background is an image from Google. I used a snowflake embossing folder and a MS snowflake punch to decorate the frame.  Copic markers were used to colour in the image.  As you can see it fits beautifully into an A7 envelope.

For my second projects, I used this very cute
Checking the List Elf from Cute as a Button. I used a side step card fold to showcase him. I used various dies from Cottage Cutz and Yvonne Creations to complete my scene. The greeting is from Cardz TV stamps. I used copic markers to colour him in and went over his wings, hat and quill with a Wink of Stella pen to give it a little sparkle.
And as you can see, we all made it onto the nice list 😀

That is it from me for today. I hope you liked my card and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us. You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 11 August 2020, to link your project to our challenge.

Stay safe and healthy!

Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate for Images Only

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

I have two cards to share with you today.  The first card uses the beautiful Autumn Fairy from Cute as a Button.  I must admit that I really loe the way this card came out. I'm still having so fun stitching on my cards :-), and thought that this pattern would be perfect to showcase this cutie.  I coloured the image with copic markers.  The green and brown card stocks are from GinaK.

For the next card, I used Pumpkin Topiary from Scribbles Designs.
I cut this center step card on the Silhouette.  Using a Cottage Cutz die, I added a bundle of wheat stalks to each side.  I coloured the image with copic markers. Card stock is from GinaK. Tiny polkadot paper is from my stash.

I kept the inside plain so that I can write my own personal message.

Thank you for sharing a little piece of your day with me.  I hope that I have inspired you to make a project to link to our challenge #179, Fall Colours.  Remember there are fabulous prizes to be won.  You have until noon, CST, on Tuesday, 4 December 2018, to link your project to the  Crafty Gals Corner blog. And while you there, take a few minutes to look at what my teamies made for your inspiration.

Have an Apple

I don't know about you, but after watching Snowwhite a gazillion times, I would not take an apple from a witch! :-) Yes, a gazillion times is being very generous, it was one of my daughter's favourite Disney movies when she was little and trust me when I tell you that I could sing every song backwards!

Challenge # 144 ~ Make it Spooktacular!

Our wonderful sponsors this week are:

Prize: 3 Digital Images

Prize: 3 Digital Images

Prize: 1 Digital Imag

Today's card was made with an image from Cute as Button, called "Have an Apple Witch". Since our challenge is to make it Spooktacular, I thought it would be fitting to give her a whole house and graveyard wherein she can make all her concoctions.

I used a Silhouette file, design #95060, for the card.
As you can see I cut out another two cats from the image to add to the graveyard.
Cardstocks used are all from Bazzill.
I used copic markers to colour the images.
I also added a few little ghosts for a little extra sooky fun.

I'm so glad you stopped by today. Now it's your turn to make a Spook-tacular project and link it to our challenge #144 for your chance to win one our wonderful sponsored prizes. You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 17 October 2017, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog.  And while you there, take a look at what my DT teamies made for your inspiration this week.

Till next time,

Challenge #114 at Crafty Gals Corner ~ Use Buttons

Hello crafting friends. Hope you're all doing well!
As always, Wednesdays bring a new challenge at Crafty Gals Corner!

Challenge #114 ~  Use Buttons!

Our sponsors this week are:

All Dressed Up
Prize: 2 Digital Images

Cute as a Button

Prize: 3 Digital Images

My card today features a cute digital image from Cute as a Button called Is He Here Yet?

I used Bazzill card stock and the silhouette design #110044 to cut the card.
All other card stocks were from my scraps drawer. The piece of acetate I cut for the snow globe window was also a piece I had left over from another project.

As you can see, this is somewhat a different kind of snow globe as when the card is closed it looks like a regular snow globe but it is in fact a window into the scene I created on the inside of the card :-)  I used copic markers to colour the image and memento inks to sponge in the sky. I added several snow banks with a clear Wink of Stella pen.  I also added some shine to "fur" trimming on her outfit, boots, snowman heart and Christmas lights.  I used a MS punch to cut out the little snowflakes and scattered them as if they were falling.

The snowflake and holly buttons are from my stash. I cut off their shanks and adhered them with a glue dot.  The Christmas greeting is a stamp from Cardz TV called Glad Tidings.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today. Now it's your turn to make a project , add some buttons and join in the fun.  You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 21 March 2017, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog.

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!
Hugs,
