Fairy Dragon Staredown

Hello and welcome to this week's challenge at Crafty Gals Corner, hosted by the Crafty Belles.

Challenge #137 ~ Use Punches and/or Dies

Our wonderful sponsor this week is:

Faery Ink
Prize: 3 Digital Images

To make my card, this week, I used Faery Ink's  Fairy Dragon Staredown image.
I printed it on X-press It cardstock and coloured it using copic markers.

I used Anja's Circle card maker die from Marianne Designs on the front of my card.
I sponged it lightly with Memento Angel Pink ink to give it some definition.
Then to finish it off, I added some sweet mini roses that I got from Michaels.
The foliage I used for my roses is from an unbranded die.

On the inside of the card, I used the Love Triangles embossing folder, by Teresa Collins,  to create a background panel to put my sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by today. Now it's your turn to create a project using punches and/or dies and play along with us. You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 22 August 2017, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog. And while you there, take a quick look at what my DT sisters made for your inspiration this week.

Till next time, happy crafting!

Challenge #108 at Crafty Gals Corner - Add Some Sparkle!

Hello again, crafting friends.
I'm back today with another challenge at Crafty Gals Corner!

Challenge #108 ~  Add Some Sparkle

Our sponsor(s) for this challenge are:
Faery Ink
Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

I used copic markers to colour in the image and then framed it on a card cut with the Silhouette design # 74421. As you can see I added lots of sparkle in the form of little rhinestones from Recollections. I also used my Wink of Stella pen and added some sparkle to her wings.  The card stock I used is from the Core'dinations Gemstones collection. It's beautiful and shiny.

For the inside of the card, I used a stamp from Cardz TV called Going in Circles and used a die from My Craft Spot Tiny Doilies to frame it.  I punched a few hearts with a small Fiskars punch and added them to the corners for an added embellishment. The total size of the card is 5.5" x 5.5"

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope that I have inspired you to make a project to link up to our  challenge this week.   You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 7 February 2017, to link your project to our challenge #108, "Add Some Sparkle!", at Crafty Gals Corner.  For more inspiration, please visit our blog and see what my Teamies have made for you.  Also, don't forget to stop by our wonderful sponsors.

My card for this week's challenge was made with an image from Faery Ink called Whimzie the Witch. I'm getting a head start on my Halloween cards :-)

This is a 5.5" x 5.5" card.  The spiderweb frame was made using Silhouette cut #3649 by Rivka Wilkins.  Flowers are from my stash. The leaves were cut using punches.  I coloured in the sweet little witch with copic markers.
Orange and black cardstock are both from The Paper Temptress.  I stamped the inside of the card with a spiderweb corner stamp. All I can tell you is that it's very old :-)

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge 14 ~ Any Holiday

Welcome back crafting friends and happy hump day :-)

Our challenge at Crafty Gals Corner this week is to create a project with a holiday theme.  It can be any holiday of your liking :-)

Our sponsor this week is Faery Ink.
The prize is 3 digital images.

As you know I'm steadily working on my stash of Christmas cards, so I couldn't resist this adorable image called Snowman Love Couple, from Faery Ink, to make another Christmas card.

I used a Silhouette .cut file to make this snow globe card. Coloured the image with copic markers.  Dazzling diamonds fine glitter from StampinUp was used for the sparkly snow.  The greeting is from the "Very Merry" Cardz TV stamp set and it was matted using StampinUp punches. The background paper is by Sugar Tree. I used ribbon from my stash to make the bow and punched out the silver snowflakes using a MS punch.  And voila ... another Christmas card ready :-)

Now it's your turn to go grab your crafting supplies and to play along with us.  You have till noon on Tuesday, 14 April 2015, to link your project to our challenge 14 at the Crafty Gals Corner Blog.

Can't wait to see your wonderful holiday projects.

Till next time,
Happy Crafting!
