Hocus Pocus

 Hello everyone.  I'm so excited to be Guest Designer for Two Old Bats Challenges, this month!

Take a look at this piece of home decor I made for this challenge.

It's a 12" x 12" Halloween scene SVG that I purchased from Dreaming Tree.  I used my Silhouette to cut it all out. Once all the pieces were all cut, I followed Leo's instructions as to how to put it together. It was easy peasy!  Unfortunately, taking pics was really difficult.  The glass in this frame is wedged in the frame itself and I could not get out to photograph, so the glare is just terrible.  Anyway the above pic shows what the frame looks like during the day.  At night, when the lights go on it looks even more amazing.  Take a look ...

Isn't is pretty? It looks so much better in person.  Very spooky and bewitching 👻

Take a look at a close up.  There are several layers and they are all popped up on foam squares.

It makes  Spooktacular piece of home decor and hangs beautifully on the wall in my breakfast nook.

Guest Diva at Die Cuttin' Divas :-)

Hello everyone. Once again I'm joining the Die Cuttin' Divas as a guest Diva. I'm so excited and so honoured that Georgiana asked me to join them this week:-)

The challenge for this week is

~ Valentine Colors~
~ Pink, Red, and/or Purple ~


Although Pink is my favourite colour, my card today is all Red with some black and white thrown in there for good measure :-)

I made this Valentine card for my hubby, using a stamp and die set from Art Impressions called Mouse Slider. It comes with these cute mice and matching dies. I used the slider die to create the scene.

Isn't it adorable? The "Love" stamp comes with the Mouse Slider set. The Happy Valentine's Day stamp is from Cardz TV Happy Days set. Card stocks are all from Bazzill.  The hearts were all cut out with my Silhouette.  I love the fact that I could create them all different sizes but still have the same shaped heart. The polka dot paper is from Simple Stories called Snap! Color Vibe. I used an embossing folder from Crafter's Companion, called Heart Scrolls, on the slider to add some interest as the plain card stock was just too blah for my liking.  I left the inside blank so that I can write my own personal message.

Gracielle Design New Stamp Release & Blog Hop

Hi bloggie friends.  I'm so honoured to have been invited by Gracie to join her and her team on her new stamp release blog hop.

The stamp set I used to make my card is the beautiful Poppy Wishes. Here is a peak at this beautiful set. The poppy is gorgeous and I love, love all the beautiful sentiments that are included in this set. They are perfect to use both on the outside and inside of your cards.  Please visit Gracie's Digi Shop to see the rest of the collection that is being released today.

Here is the card I made. I kept it CAS in order to showcase this gorgeous poppy flower.

I used one of the beautiful sentiments on the front of the card.  The image was coloured using copic markers. 

On the inside, I printed another poppy and used another one of the beautiful sentiments.

In addition to the sequins, I went over some of the petals with wink of stella pen to add a little more sparkle and shine.

Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons

Hi everyone and welcome back. I have the great honour today to be Guest Designer for Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons.

I would like to share the projects I made using some of their awesome SVG cutting files.

For my first card ...

I used their Skeleton Couple cutting file.  Aren't these guys adorable?  Hubby and I will celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary towards the end of the month and I thought this was the perfect Halloween card to give him.  Papers are from the Paper Studio and the lace was purchased from Wild Orchid Crafts. I kept the card simple because I really wanted the Skeleton Couple to be the focal point :-) I added some bling to the girl skeleton for some extra fun.

For my second card, I used two of  the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons SVG cutting files and made a snow globe shaped card with Santa.

I love snow globes and I love Christmas, so this is one of my very favourite cards to make :-) and the images from PPPR were just perfect. I used my Cricut Explore to make all the cuts and then I went back and used my Silhouette to cut the offset mat for the inside of the snow globe.  I used the print and cut feature on the Explore and cut Santa sleigh's to put on the inside of the card.
