Something New at Crafty Gals Corner ~ Challenge #55

Hello everyone.  Hoping you're having a wonderful week.  If not, hang in there it's hump day so only another couple of days till the weekend :-)

Our challenge for you this is week at Crafty Gals Corner is Something New for You! This could be a new technique, a new stamp or die, new papers, etc.

Our very generous sponsors this week are:
Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

Prize ~ 3 Digital Images

Prize ~1 Digital Image

For my card this week, I chose to work with Elmer, the Love Struck Elephant from Stitchy Bear.
Just look at this big guy - all mush in love :-)

I love the way this card came out and it goes perfectly well with my sentiment.
The papers are from The Paper Studio. I used copic markers to colour in the image and the clear Wink of Stella Pen to add some shine to the hearts.
My new item is the heart punch from Fiskars.  I used to have another one, but it broke so I got this one to replace it.  You know, a gal just can't live without a heart punch in her crafting arsenal :-)
Thank you for stopping by today. You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 26 January 2016, to link your project to our challenge # 55, "Something New" at Crafty Gals Corner.  I can't wait to see all the new toys you use to make your project.  I bet some were delivered by Santa :-)

Also, don't forget to visit our wonderful sponsor this week, to see the wonderful variety of  digital images available to help you with your projects.

Challenge #43 at Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes

Happy hump day one and all :-)

Our challenge for you this week, at Crafty Gals Corner, is Anything Goes!

Our wonderful sponsors this week are:

Prize ~ 2 Digital Images

AND

Stitchy Bear's Digi Outlet
Prize ~ $10 Gift Certificate

I used this image from Stitchy Bear called Hot Coco and made this adorable stocking stuffer.

No matter how I photographed this mug, I could not get the back and the front green to match :-) The true colour is more like the front of mug.
I coloured this image digitally and just went over the teddy with a copic marker.  Then I paper pieced the straws and used Liquid Applique for the froth on top of the chocolate. I added glitter to the hat and a real pom-pom finished it off.  The stamped greeting is from the Cardz TV set called Tiny Tidings.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and got some inspiration as to how you can stretch the use of your digital images.   You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 3 November 2015, to link your project to our challenge # 43, "Anything Goes", at Crafty Gals Corner.  I can't wait to see all your wonderful projects.

Please take a few moments and visit our blog to see all the wonderful creations that my DT sisters have made for your inspiration.  While you there, please read through the rules for this challenge. Also, don't forget to visit our wonderful sponsors this week, The Eastwind and Stitchy Bear, to see all the wonderful digital images available to help you create your projects.

It's Sparkle and Glitter at Crafty Gals Corner

Good morning bloggie friends.

Our challenge for you this week, at Crafty Gals Corner, is Sparkle & Glitter. You may do one or the other or both :-) There is no such thing as to much Sparkle or Glitter, right?  :-)

Our wonderful sponsors this week are:
Prize   $10 gift certificate

AND

Prize ~ $20 gift certificate

I made this card using "Candy Cane Tag" from Stitchy Bear.

Unfortunately the pic that showed the sparkle and shine got corrupt, so I will take another pic later today and edit this post.  I used copics to colour in the image. The red cardstock is from GinaK. The polka dot paper is from Recollections - Sugar Plum Collection.  The dies are from  Spellbinders - Oval Majesty and Large Oval dies. I used Wink of Stella pen, Stardust Gelly Roll pen, Recollection Rhinestones and Stickles to add the sparkle to this card :-)

You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 29 September 2015, to link your project to our challenge # 38, Sparkle & Glitter, at Crafty Gals Corner.

Please take a few moments and visit our blog to see all the wonderful creations that my teamies have made for your inspiration.  While you there, please read through the few rules for this challenge.
