Dies R Us #151 ~ Baby, It's Hot Outside!

Hello crafting friends and welcome to a new challenge at Dies R Us.

Challenge #151 ~ Baby, It's Hot Outside!
(Use hot colours - reds, oranges, yellows)

I've had so much fun this summer playing with new dies and making beach/ocean themed cards, that I just wanted to do another one before we begin with our Fall projects😀

I don't know if you saw, but Dies R Us recently had a great sale on international dies. I love these dies and always wait for these sales to buy a few. Remember, these special order sales happen every so often, so the best way to know about them is to subscribe to the Dies R Us newsletter.

To start this card, I used a piece of sand patterned paper and tore it in a few bits to create the illusion of sand dunes.  Next I die cut all my bits and pieces, and coloured them in by using distress inks and copic markers. Then it was just a matter of setting up my beach scene.

On the inside, I used the other half of the sand patterned paper and added a beach hut to bring it altogether.  Since I had an extra beach hut, I adhered it to the front of the envelope.  I'm not too sure if that goes against USPS rules, but I guess I'll find out ðŸ˜€

Now for the list of supplies I used, each linked to the Dies R Us store for your convenience.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month.  Be sure to follow on Facebook and Pinterest too. Also, don't for get to pop on over to our blog where you will find more inspiration from my team mates.

Before I go, I'd like to remind you that Dies R Us' sister store,  Didi Crafts, is now open. It has warehouses located in the USA and Canada.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies, including Marianne Design, and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!
