Valentine's Card for Hubby

Hi everyone,
I was looking for something a little sassy for my husband's card and I've exhausted all the images I have on my cricut cartridges so I decided to go browse through KennyK's digi world. I love most of their digi-stamps and when I found this one, the whole card just kind of came together.

I had the darnest time photographing it though.  The DP is monochramic foil paper. The hearts make different shades of red when you move the card around.  It's absolutely gorgeous! So between the DP and the image I decided to keep it very simple. I used copic and bic markers to colour cupid. I used a die from SB to cut the hearts circle, and a MS punch for the hearts border.  The heart was cut at 1" from the Tie the Knot cricut cartridge and the sentiment was computer generated. Something else you can't see in the picture is that I added Dazzling Diamonds glitter (from SU!) to the wings and glassy accents to all the hearts.

For the inside I kept it simple with plenty of space to write my message.
I really do like the way this card came out :) How about you?

I wish you all a very love-filled Valentine's Day and may it last through the coming year.

Loads of love
Lena
