Sympathy Card

Sadly, in the middle of making my Valentine cards, I had to make this one for a friend whose mom passed away. I used a Marianne creatable that my sister-in-law sent me from Holland. The flowers stamp is a free gift that came with my Cardmaking magazine from the UK.  It's from a set called The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.

I used the Swiss Dots folder to emboss the white mat. You can't quite see it from this pic, but there is a little heart charm on the ribbon.  I though this was perfect as it has a tiny cross embedded on it.

I kept the inside simple with enough space to write a personal message of condolences.

Have a wonderful day and I will see you again tomorrow with another Valentine card. Remember that I really do love to hear from you, so comments are very welcome.

Hugs,
Lena
