Monkey Business for Valentine

Here is the card I made for my son this year. I thought it would be fun and he liked it so I achieved my goal :)

I found the monkey paper at Hobby Lobby which matched perfectly with the digi-stamp that I had bought from Digital Delights.  Now I have to confess that I bought the wrong image.  My purchased image turned out to be the paper piecing version, but I figured that since putting together cricut cuts is like paper piecing, it wouldn't be a problem.  Well, let me tell you that I will be very careful with future digi purchases.  Well, it's nothing like the cricut, my friends.  First, you have to do all the cutting out of the bits and pieces by hand, and then you have to put them all together but without a base shape on which to work from. So all in all not something I would do again in a hurry :)

Here is the inside of my card. I used the same paper and cardstocks. Punched out two little hearts to add something a little extra.

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed your time visiting my blog.
Have a wonderful day,
Lena
