These are soooo delicious that I thought I would share them with you, although they have nothing to do with paper crafting. Or maybe they do, they make me happy and the creativity flows much better when I'm happy :-)
For the last few years, we as a family decided that since the restaurants are packed on Valentine's night, we order dinner from one of our favourite restaurants and eat at leisure in the comfort of our home. The reason I say "as a family" is because Rob and I have always included our kids in our Valentine dinners. After all they are the best proof of our love :) As part of this family tradition, I always make dessert - either a pudding, a cake or some sort of sweet treat.
Last week I was browsing through various blogs and found this recipe and decided that I would give it a try. Unfortunately, I didn't keep her blog details, although I do remember that she had gotten this recipe from Pinterest.
They are pretty easy to make and you only use two bowls, so no major clean up afterwards :) This is what they look like when they come out of the oven. They are made with chocolate and cream cheese batters.
I made a cream cheese/marshmallow cream frosting and it was the perfect topping. The little hearts are just the sugar hearts you buy at the grocery store.
They are absolutely yummy and I will definitely be making them again.
I hope you enjoyed your visit today. If you would like the recipe for these cupcakes, please email me at lenfon@msn.com and I will get it to you ASAP.
Hugs,
Lena
