Hello everyone and welcome back. After 50 years plus of working, hubby finally retired 😀 Since he loves the beach and everything tropical, I thought this card would be perfect for him, and yes he did love it. Told me that all that was missing was a cold beer to which I replied that it could be easily arranged 😀

I had fun making this card. If you follow my blog, then you know by now, that tropical themed cards are one of my favourite cards to make. I'm also having fun having hubby home. After 41 years of marriage, we have gone thru many phases of life together and this is a new one for us. It's an adjustment but a fun one!

ReplyDeleteOMG Congrats on hubby's retirement! Yes it's an adjustment but you'll figure it out! We have been retired for awhile now and have figure out that the key is to have our own ME time as well as our US time. I'm very lucky because Mark doesn't expect us to be together ALL the time and he does his part around the house too. He knows how to do laundry, dishes, cook . . . basically we 'have each other's backs' without suffocation lol. Your card is AMAZING and oh yes you can put that beer on the beach without a problem ... better yet make it the real thing lol.
