Hello and welcome to this month's Christmas challenge at
Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
Our challenge this month is Snowmen.
I purchased a few die sets from Scrappy Tails last year and hadn't had a play with this one yet, so I gave it a try and made a snowman card for this challenge.
Using the Slimline Snow Globe Spinner and the Snowman Spinner Add On, both from Scrappy Tails, I created this dangling, spinning snowman card.
The blue cardstock is from Bazzill. The snowflake patterned paper is from The Paper Studio. All the bits and pieces used for the embellishments were cut from cardstock in my scraps drawers.

This die set doesn't come with a way to make the back of the snowman. I didn't like it that it was plain, so I cut and trimmed a few pieces and gave him a back! :-)
Here is a little video clip showing you how he spins. (So sorry about the noise - that was a squirrel outside tossing around the plastic basket of our pool cleaner. Hubby had left it on the bench, while he came inside for a drink of water 😁). Now back to my card - remember you have to "wind" him up before placing your card in the envelope. When the recipient takes out of the envelope, it will start spinning :-) This card will fit in a regular business envelope, even though it does a lil bulk to it.
In addition to the Scrappy Tails dies, I also used the following for all the embellishments on the snow globe:
Snow Globe - Hunkydory (for foliage)
Christmas Holly Punch Die - Marianne Design (for foliage)
Text Banners - Marianne Design (sentiment banner)
Winter Cheer Stamp Set - Cardz TV (greeting)
Well, friends, that is all for today. I hope you enjoyed my card as much as I enjoyed making it :-) Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project, that falls within our challenge theme, and come play along with us. You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
He is absolutely adorable, Lena xoxo
