The Paper Shelter #595 ~ A Bit of a Giggle

Hello crafting friends and welcome to our newest challenge

Team A - our challenge this week is
~ A Bit of a Giggle ~
(Make it humorous & fun)

While looking through the beautiful and varied The Paper Shelter image sets, many caught my fancy but this one always cracks me up.  I mean, be honest ... who hasn't felt like poor Rudolph a time or two at Christmas when it comes time to put up the lights? 😀

This card actually became a great example of how you can mix and match elements from different image sets from The Paper Shelter.  I used the following sets to create this card ...

Snowflake Garland - Christmas scenic background
What a Mess -  Rudolph tangled in lights
Christmas Buddies - the giggling penguins encouraging (or maybe teasing) Rudolph

Here is a close up of poor Rudolph and the cute penguins, who seem to be having way too much fun at Rudolph's expense 😀

I cut out Rudolph twice and an extra "lights box".  I adhered all the layers to each other using pop dots.

The card base was created on Silhouette and sized to be a 5.5 inch square card, when folded.
On the inside, I cut out the greeting using the Merry Christmas w/Shadow die set from Cottage Cutz.  I cut another set of the little penguins and adhered them to the bottom for a little extra fun.

So this is it for my card for this week.  I'd like to invite you to come play along with us.  Remember that The Paper Shelter offers a $30 gift certifcate to one lucky winner!  In order to get this prize, you must use a product from The Paper Shelter.  However, if you don't use a product from The Paper Shelter, you still stand a chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

I do hope you will come join the fun and share your projects with us.

  1. This card certainly gave me a good chuckle Lena. It is adorable and so funny! It looks like the penguins are no help to poor Rudolph at all. What a great idea to add extra dimension by adding extra layers of the image. This is a super fun card!
