Hi everyone. I have a box of cards that are half done. Started on them, then got busy and just didn't finish them. Well, I promised myself that I would start working on them to get them finished. Another thing that I'm trying to do is blog cards that have been done but not shared. With the the latter in mind, here is the card I made for my nephew for his birthday which was in November last year.
I thought this would be an appropriate card for a seventeen year old, and since he liked it, I guess mission accomplished 😀
It was done using a card kit made by Marthy from Hand Made Hobby Shop in Holland. The image has several layers which were fussy cut and then adhered together using foam squares. I cut out the word Celebrate in blue and white and off set them a tad to make the work stand out a little more against the blue background.
I added the white panel at the back of the card so I had space to write my personal birthday wishes for him.
So, one card shared and many more to go, but never fear, I will get there! 😀
Till next time,
This is fantastic, Lena! Yay for you for finishing previously started projects and for posting cards that have been made but never shared. I have tons that I've never gotten around to sharing. I should follow your lead on both accounts, as I've also got bits and bobs of previously started projects. There just isn't enough time in the day!
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfect card for a teen Lena or even an older technology aware person...I understand that some children of the 60's can use their smartphone!! I am certainly not one of them!! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat teen card, Lena xoxo
