Hello crafting friends and welcome back. As most of you know Christmas is my favourite time of year and I just can't wait for Christmas in July to start :-)
I made this card using one the shaker kits from Kat Scrappiness,. Love these kits!
They're easy to put together and they're shakers! What's not to love, right?
One side of the shaker is white, the other has the wood look. This time I didn't paint the frame as I wanted to use kraft cardstock and though the colours matched perfectly. For the shaker I used the following
Santa's Sleight Shaker Card Kit
Slimline Mountain Scapes
Slimline Tree Forest
I used following shaker elements and adhered a few extra snowflake sprinkles to the outside of the acetate for a little more interest. That way, there are always snowflakes in the picture, even when all the sprinkles and sequins settle to the bottom.
Snowflake Sequins
White Snowflake Sprinkles
Sparkling Clear Drops
Mirrored Clear Star Sequins
On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Reindeer Games Sentiments Stamp Set.
And that was that. The only other thing I did was to use a very old embossing folder to create a little texture behind the shaker element. I did the same thing on the inside of the card for continuity. You'll find all the above products and so much more at the Kat Scrappiness store.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Crafty hugs,
Liefs, Astrid.
Your Santa shaker card is super cute Lena! Love the little snowflake shaker elements and the embossed background. The shaker makes me think of a winter snow globe. So sweet!!
