Hello friends and welcome back to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!
Following a tutorial by Sandy Allnock, I tried my hand at faux wood burning, and for a newbie and first time try, I think it came out okay.
There really isn't much to tell you about this project. If you take a look at Sandy's tutorial, she explains and shows how's it done a lot better than I ever could. I can tell you, however the supplies I used to make my tag, and I have linked them to the Fairy Stamper store.
Fairy Hugs stamps - Rugged Pines, Mini Deer
Distress Oxide ink - Vintage Photo, Ground Espresso
VersaFine ink - Onyx Black
I have a small wood burning Dremel tool attachment that I may try at a later date. For now I'm having fun with these. Stay tuned, there will be more of these tags coming soon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you will come join us and share your magical creations on our Facebook group.
Okay? More like brilliant!! I actually thought you'd burned the design! Great job Lena xx
ReplyDeleteI have been scratching my head trying to remember the technical term for wood burning...it's pyrography and how I love the smell!!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, Lena! xoxo
