CCAYR ~ October's Christmas Challenge

Hello crafting friends and welcome to this month's
challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Challenge ~ Winter Sports
This is our Christmas cake inspiration pic for October.

For my DT project today, I have another stitched card, this one from a Stitch & Do Kit, no. 77.

Not quite the Christmas colours I normally use, but I think this little polar bear is adorable on his sled, and would be perfect for our Winter Sport challenge.  What do you all think? :-)
With this stitched pattern, there was a lot of white space left on each corner, and as you know by now, I don't do well with lots of white space, so I used an old MS corner punch to create the snowflakes on each corner. I thought it would work well with the snowy pic.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Christmas Greetings set from Great Impressions Stamps.

That's all for today crafting friends.  Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing a little of  your time with me.   Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project that falls within our challenge theme, and come play along with us.  You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at  Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.

Crafty hugs,

  1. Absolutely adorable. I love non-traditional colors for Christmas and this is one of my favorite combos! xoxo

  2. Gorgeous stitching - actually, it looks amazing! I like this colour combo as it's always fun to have something unique. I'm not sure I could part with this one after all of that stitching - I think I would have to keep it LOL! Or maybe give it to someone very special!
