Dies R Us #171 ~ Gnome Birthday

Hello everyone, and welcome to our latest challenge at Dies R Us.
Challenge #171 ~ Anything Goes!
(As long as you use a die sold at the Dies R Us store)

As you know by now, I love stitching on cards. Another favourite crafting activity of mine is mixing various kinds of crafty supplies.  For example, on this card I used embroidery and die cutting, with a bit of Polychromos pencils for colouring. :-)

I began by pricking the mushroom pattern on a piece of linen cardstock. Next I used blending brushes and very carefully inked in the sky.  I die cut all my elements, coloured and assembled them and then adhered them to the card.
On the inside, I added a few die cuts to continue with the theme.  And that was that. I must admit that I like the way it turned out.

Here is the list of supplies I used, all linked to the Dies R Us store for your convenience.

Memory Box - Picket Fence
Out of stock at the moment, but this one will work just as well,

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope I was able to inspire you to create a project, and  play along with us at the Dies R Us Challenges for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Dies R Us Store.  A new challenge begins on the 1st and 15th of each month. Visit our challenge blog, where my team mates showcase their creations to give you a little more inspiration.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Pinterest too.

Before I go, let me mention that  Didi Crafts is our sister with warehouses in the US and Canada. This means that our Canadian friends no longer have to worry about huge taxes or expensive shipping fees.  It has some products that are the same as Dies R Us, but in addition, it carries international dies,  and other crafty supplies for a variety of crafts.  Go take a peek and be pleasantly surprised!

Till next time,
stay safe and healthy!
