Playing Under the Sea

Hello and welcome back crafting friends.
A new challenge begins today at Crafty Girls Corner.

Challenge # 161 ~  Make it Green

Our wonderful sponsor this week is:

Prize: $15 Gift Certificate

In honor of Saint Patrick's Day, our challenge this week is to add green to your project.  So with that in mind, I used the pre-coloured image called Playing Under the Sea, and added some green accents to it.

In this set by the Paper Shelter, you get the beautiful co-ordinating background too. Isn't it a beautiful set? I think this lil mermaid and her lil friends are too cute!  I printed the mermaid, sea shell and starfish twice, cut it into several layers and used foam squares in between each layer for dimension.
I added green seaweed and a green backing mat, to both the front and inside of the card. I went over her tail and headband with a Wink of Stella pen to add some sparkle. Lastly, I added a few green "bubbles" to complete the scene and add a little more green to my card.
The stamped sentiment is from the Good Times stamp set, by Cardz TV.

Thank  you for stopping by today.  Now it's your turn to make a project and link it to our challenge #161 for your chance to win the fabulous prize.  You have till noon, CST, on Tuesday, 27 March 2018, to link your project to the Crafty Gals Corner blog.  And while you there, take a look at what my DT teamies made for your inspiration.

Crafty hugs,

Sorry it took a while before I gave all my comments.
But without my right hand (after my operation) it was difficult to do.
