For my card, I'm using the Christmas Bestie Image A4 digi stamp by Sherri Baldy. This lil girl looks so cute in her winter outfit with her little reindeer. I almost put a drop of stickles on his nose and turned him into Rudolph, but, with great effort, I restrained myself :-)
I coloured the image with copic markers and added Dazzling Diamonds from SU! to her accessories making her look very sparkly and dazzling :-)
I used a Metallic Gold Gelly Roll pen to colour in all the little bells on the reindeer. The die that I used to showcase the image is the Decorative Labels 8 from Spellbinders. To emboss the white mat, I used the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder.
To finish off the card I added little poinsettia flowers and three little gold gems (that you can't see very well on this picture) placed on each corner to complement the flowers.
For the inside I used the same spellbinders die. The stamp for the sentiment is called Christmas Peace by Paper Inspirations.
Not really a 30 minute card, only because I take so long to colour, but as you can see it was a very simple card to make and I think it came out pretty and festive.
So what are you going to make to link up to join our fun challenge? I can't wait to see your beautiful projects. Remember, it can be any theme and any project as long as you use scraps. As you can see from my card, I used my larger scraps this time around. My scraps drawers were getting too full so I held my breath and threw out anything that was smaller than a 4" x 4" or 3" x 5" piece. What's left is much more manageable now.
Oops, I almost forgot to give you the link to where all the fun is happening ... so here it is ...
Have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs,
Lena
