Hi there crafty friends. Well, I didn't finish my card on time to share with you on Friday, but here it is today. My husband and I don't normally do anything for each other on Halloween, it's always just about the kids, but this year, I made him a card and I hope he's going to like it.
I used the Spooky Iron Shelf from Cottage Cutz to make the focal image. I think it turned out cute and spooky. The polka dot paper and Happy Halloween sentiment are from The Haunted Manor stack by Recollections. The rest of the cardstock is all from my scraps stash as are the little brass brads that I used on the shelf. I used the Skeleton Scroll Cuttlebug embossing folder to add texture to the purple cardstock.
For the inside I printed this sentiment using the Chiller font and used a dollar bin stamp from Michaels to add the little spider. I added red stickles to the eyes of the spider to add to the spooky look of the card :)
Thank you for stopping by today and for all the encouraging bloggie love. I'll be back tomorrow with another Halloween card, so till then ...
Happy Crafting,
Lena

Spoooky! The shelf looks great with the books, bones and candle. Love the embossing and sentiment inside. Great job!
