Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends. Ours was great, but as usual, it went by too fast!
It's been a while since my last post and here is the reason why ... meet Maverick, the latest addition to the Fonkert Family.
We had an early Christmas delivery for my son! Whew, I forgot how much time consuming puppies are :) He's too adorable though ... at least most of the time :)
I thought I would also post the card I made for my son. I didn't want to give it to him before he got the puppy or he would have known what was up. He's just too smart like that :)
When I saw this Penny Black stamp, I just knew that it would be totally appropriate to make a card for him. He has wanted a puppy for the longest time and was extremely happy with his 8 week old Basenji puppy. I used my copics to colour the image. The cardstock and DP are all from my stash. I used SU! glitter for the snow. I believe it's called Dazzling Diamonds, but I could be wrong. Sorry, I don't have the original container anymore. I used a variety of snowflake stamps in different shades of blue to add a little interest to the inside sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by today and for all the bloggy love you have left me during this past year. It's been wonderful hearing from you and visiting your blogs. I have learnt so much from you very talented ladies and gents, and I really appreciate the wonderful bloggy friends I have made along the way.
Hugs,
Lena
This is soooo nice. The stamp is on its right place. But you are right: first the puppy and than the card.
ReplyDeleteI hope I can buy a lot of these beautiful stamps when I am with you in (a little bit more than) 2 month!!!!
Maverick is soooo adorable!!!! I bet your son was so surprised. I love the card! That is a really cute stamp. Great job on the coloring. The DD looks awesome on there. I wish you and your family a very Happy New Year! I'm so glad we are friends!
