Hello and welcome to this month's Christmas challenge at
Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
Our inspiration song for October's challenge is 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅯 Hard Candy Christmas 𝅘𝅥𝅮𝅘𝅥𝅯. This means that you can use any verse, phrase or word in the song to create your Christmas project. Here are the lyrics of this song for your inspiration
~ Hard Candy Christmas ~
Hey, maybe I'll dye my hair
Maybe I'll move somewhere
Maybe I'll get a car
Maybe I'll drive so far
They'll all lose track
Me, I'll bounce right back
Maybe I'll sleep real late
Maybe I'll lose some weight
Maybe I'll clear my junk
Maybe I'll just get drunk on apple wine
Me, I'll be just
Fine and Dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
Hey, maybe I'll learn to sew
Maybe I'll just lie low
Maybe I'll hit the bars
Maybe I'll count the stars until dawn
Me, I will go on
Maybe I'll settle down
Maybe I'll just leave town
Maybe I'll have some fun
Maybe I'll meet someone
And make him mine
Me, I'll be just
Fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
I'll be fine and dandy
Lord it's like a hard candy Christmas
I'm barely getting through tomorrow
But still I won't let
Sorrow bring me way down
'Cause I'll be fine
(I'll be fine)
Oh, I'll be fine
For this challenge I went with a gingerbread house with candy cane pillars and other assorted candy decorations. This sweet digi is from Moondrea Designs and it's called Snowglobe.
I imported it into the Silhouette Design Studio and created the Snowglobe shaped card base. I used copic markers to colour it and added a small poinsettia on either side of the bow. These small poinsettias were made using the Small Blooming Poinsettias die from Poppy Stamps.
On the inside, I made a snowglobe mat and stamped the greeting, which is from the Naughty or Nice stamp set from Cardz TV.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Now it's your turn to make a Christmas project, and come play along with us. You have till the end of the month to link your project to our blog at Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round.
Crafty hugs,
