Hello friends! Welcome to our 2024 Christmas Break Challenge at
Although this is our last challenge for the year, we do have lots of inspiration for you as both Team A and Team B are participating in this challenge.
Our theme for this challenge is
~ Anything Goes ~
For this card, I used the Dear Santa digi set from The Paper Shelter.
I have a few layers of this digi on this card. First I print and cut two layers of the entire image and adhered them together with foam squares. Then I printed just the Santa and adhered that to the other layers, also using foam squares.
I used the Santa's Coat Rack die set and the Santa's Chair & Boots die set, both from Cottage Cutz, to create the coat rack with Santa's neatly pressed jacket and his shinny boots.
Here is a close up of Santa reading all his letters. Love the little kitten keeping him company 😀
I used the background paper that comes in this digi set for my backgrounds, both on the front of the card and on the inside. The greeting was cut in red and white cardstock using the Merry Christmas w/Shadow die set, also from Cottage Cutz. The Santa hat was cut from the same Santa's Coat Rack die set that was used above. Forgot to mention that I created the card base on the Silhouette, by welding two nested shapes together. I made this card to measure 5.5" square so it doesn't require extra postage.
Our Christmas Break Challenge runs for 4 weeks, and although we are taking a break, there is still a chance to win a prize. Check out the details below ...
Team A will be kicking off the New Year on the 15th of January 2025, with a "Winter Blues" challenge. Unfortunately, I will no longer be a part of the DT. I have family coming and going till the 16 August, so I thought I would take a break from DT commitments to focus my time on my family. I'm really going to miss this fabulous DT but I'm also very excited about having family over.
So dear friends, take care, stay safe and have a very Merry Christmas! 🎄
