Our challenge this month is Hot or Cold Drinks / Christmas Movies

I decided to go with a Christmat movie ... The Grinch!

As you all know by now, I LOVE everything about Christmas, and sitting by the fire, with a hot cup of cocoa, watching a Christmas movie, is a beautiful night and time well spent.  In fact I start watching Christmas movies in July (minus the fire and hot cocoa of course 😀) on the Hallmark channel.  Yes, I'm one of those! And yes, Die Hard is totally a Christmas movie! 😀😂😀

 

So now that I have you all cringing and calling me nuts, let me tell you about my card.  I got the Grinch Hand die set from Kat Scrappiness and hadn't had a chance to use it yet, so when Deanne, our wonderful team leader, came up with this challenge, I saw the perfect opportunity to make a card using it.  In addition, I ran two washi tape strips, in green and red, and added the HO HO HO, because when I had just the hand on the card, it looked way to CAS and you guys already know that I just can't do CAS 😀  The HO HO HO was cut using the Silhouette.

The inside sentiment was computer generated, and printed on a 5.25" square white mat.  The whole card is 5.5" x 5.5"
