The Paper Shelter #583 ~ Happy Baby Deer

Happy Valentine's Day crafting friends and welcome to our newest challenge at the The Paper Shelter

Team A - our challenge this week is Ribbon or Twine

If you one of my followers then you know that my favourite cards to make are Christmas cards, and I use every opportunity I get to make one 😀

So here is my DT project. I chose to use Twine and made this Christmas snow globe with the sweet Happy Baby Deer image as the focal point.

I used a snow globe file from Silhouette. The background is included in this digi set.

I printed the deer onto photo paper, cut it with the Silhouette, and adhered it to the outside of the acetate.  This way, the mixture of sprinkles I used, all from Kat Scrappiness, are able to move around freely inside the globe when you shake it.
The twine I used is from my scraps. It's a beautiful combination of red, white and blue although it doesn't really show up that well when photographed.  I added two tiny little red bells as an added embellishment.

Here is a close up of this cute lil deer.  I used snow texture paste on the outside ring of the snow globe.

The inside sentiment was created, and printed using the Silhouette.

Now it's your turn to come play along with us at The Paper Shelter.  There is a $30 gift certifcate for one lucky winner!  In order to get this prize, you must use a product from The Paper Shelter.  However, if you don't use a product from The Paper Shelter, you still stand a chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

I hope you will come join the fun and share your projects with us.   You will find our challenge blog HERE.

Crafty hugs,
