Hello friends and welcome to our newest challenge at the The Paper Shelter.
You all know by now that I don't really do CAS. I just can't leave well enough alone and all that white space just screams at me to put something on it 😀 So here is my version of CAS ...
I used this little guy who is about to be blown away. This sweet snowman is from the digi set called A Snowman in the Wind by The Paper Shelter.
Here is a close up of this snowman digi. I also want to tell you that it comes with a gorgeous wintery background, but since this was CAS, I went with just an embossed background. I used the Snowflake Scroll embossing folder, by Darice. I added a few gems in different sizes just to add a little sparkle and besides all that white ... it just needed something 😀
On the inside, I added just the little sprig, from the image, to add a little interest. The stamps I used for the greeting and for the sentiment are both from the Winter Cheer stamp set by Cardz TV.
That was it for this quick card. It only took me about 20 minutes to make and I think it came out okay! Before I love you and leave you, let me remind you that The Paper Shelter offers a $30 gift certifcate for one lucky winner. In order to get this prize, you must use a product from The Paper Shelter. However, if you have not used a product from The Paper Shelter, you still stand a chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.
What a super cute snowy Lena and the embossed corner is fantastic xx

This is a great way to soothe the need to ADD SOMETHING, which I suffer from too. Such a sweet card Lena. Love the embossing, and the sneaky gems.
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin' cute! xoxo
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Lena! First of all, I adore a white embossed panel, especially for winter cards, and the added cutie-pie snowman is the perfect image! Adorable work!
ReplyDeleteWhat a real winter card. Very nice
ReplyDeleteCan you tell I'm playing catch-up on your blog? I don't know why your posts haven't been popping up on my feed of recent posts. Anyway, looks like I've missed some cute makes from you. I too, struggle with CAS cards, but yours turned out perfectly. That snowman image is so cute!!
