The Paper Shelter #545 ~ Add a Tag!

Hello friends! Welcome back to our newest challenge at the The Paper Shelter

Team A - our challenge this week is Add a Tag.

I don't often include tags in my cards, so this was a bit of a challenge for me, but after looking through my Silhouette Library, Pinterest, and a few bookmarked ideas, I came up with this card and added the tag as the focal point.

I used the Granny Christmas digi from The Paper Shelter to create my tag.

I used the Silhouette to cut out the image a couple of times. I took the second image and cut out a few details.  Next I used foam squares to adhere it to the first image. In this pic above, you can see the different layers. This adds a bit of dimension to the card.

Since Granny Christmas has a plate of milk and cookies, I grabbed some of my Cottage Cutz dies and made a latte and cookies embellishment for each side of the card.

The only place for your greeting and to write your message is at the back, so that is where I adhered my message panel.

Although this is a slightly larger card, it folds flat and fits beautifully in an A7 envelope for mailing, and it doesn't require any extra postage.

Supplies used to make this card:
The Paper Shelter - Granny Christmas
Cottage Cutz - Peppermint Latte
Cottage Cutz - Warm & Cozy Cocoa
Great Impression Stamps - Christmas Greetings set

The Paper Shelter offers a $30 gift certifcate for one lucky winner.  In order to get this prize, you must use a product from The Paper Shelter.  However, if you have not used a product from The Paper Shelter, you still stand a chance of winning 3 digis of your choice.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope my card inspired you to get crafty and come play along with us.  You can find our challenge blog HERE.

It's the 15th of March today, which means that the St. Patrick's Day festivities are still in full swing. So, in honour of St. Patrick, let me leave you today with another Irish Blessing ...

May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more,
and nothing but happiness, come thru your door!
