The Paper Shelter
Prize ~ 3 Digital Stamps

When I saw these cute Spring Elves by the Paper Shelter, I thought how cute they would look on this  Tiered Box Card.

The images from The Paper Shelter come with so many different files, such as jpg, png, coloured images, black & white images, which are perfect if you like to colour, and also a background. They really do have everything you need to make a card in a jiffy.  I decided to use the pre coloured elves, and used my Silhouette to cut them out.  I forgot to resize the file, so in order to accommodate them as they are, this card turned out rather on the large size, but it's not problem, as I think it looks even better.

I made the card myself, following the tutorial by Sam Calcott, here, but adjusted the sizes in order to fit my elves.  I then added a fence die cut to the front of the card, another grass layer and bunches of roses and daisies. To create the grass sections inside the card, I used a MS punch.  The smaller grass border on the front of the card was cut using a die from Precious Marieke.

On the back of the card, I used Hero Arts' Special Birthday stamp as the sentiment.

As you can see, this envelope is too small for the size of my card, but I wanted to show you how it folds flat for mailing. My card is 5.5" wide and 6" tall which means it will fit in a 6" square envelope. This size will require a bit extra postage here in the US, but I think it will be worth it :-)

That's all for today folks.  Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you liked my card, and feel inspired to get crafty and come play along with us. You have until 12:00 pm, CST, on 10 May 2022, to link your project to our challenge.

Crafty hugs,
