KS - Intertwined Hearts

As promised, I'm back with another Valentine card, made using a die from Kat Scrappiness.

This time I made a slimline card, using the Intertwined Hearts, to send to my mom. I cut the base die from a hearts patterned paper.  I also cut the little flowers and the background layer from the same paper.  I cut out the Intertwined Hearts three times and adhered them together to add a little dimension.  As you know by now, I love layers, so I added the soft polka dot paper layer to make the hearts stand out more.
As a finishing touch, I added a mini pearl to center of each flower.

I could not add a lot of dimension or bulk to it as it is going to Portugal.  Anything that goes in a box or bubble envelope is regarded as a package. Not only does it cost me a small fortune in postage from the US, it will have to go thru Portuguese Customs.  They now charge a tax on handling packages, that my mom would have to pay.  Unbelievable, but true!

Anyway, having said all this and being royally ticked off about it, I think that my card still came out pretty and I think that my mom will like it. 😀

Before I leave you, I would like to let you all know that  Kat Scrappiness has a new Birthday Celebration release. Take a look at all the fun dies and papers.  It really is all you need to make the cutest birthday cards!

I hope you liked my card today.  I still have a couple more Valentine cards to share with you, but it will have to wait till after Valentine.  Don't want to ruin any surprises 😀
Till next time, stay safe and well.

Crafty hugs,

I totally understand your concern about EU taxes, it is horrible now, we have to pay taxes for everything, for every small gift...
And I am very happy because your beautiful Christmas card arrived now, it was a very loooong way. Thank you so much.
