Hello friends and welcome to my Fairy Stamper Friday share!
Unfortunately I needed another one of these cards. Trying to keep it simple but elegant, I used the Fairy Hugs Wild Rose stamp as the focal point of my card.
To stamped the rose using Memento Northern Pine ink and coloured it with copic markers.
I used a fancy border from Marianne Designs, a few butterflies cut out using a MS punch, and stamped the Sympathy sentiment. I used my Silhouette to cut out the oval mats.
On the inside I used the same oval die cut for my personal message. As a finishing touch I added another few butterflies, and that was it. Sometimes, it only takes one stamp to achieve the look you're looking for, and this was one of those times. I wanted to use the little sweet butterfly that comes with the Sivelle stamp set, but the pink cardstock is textured, so it was the MS punch to the rescue in this case.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope to see you playing along with us. Our challenges go live on the first Thursday of each month on our Facebook group. All you have to do is to create a project and upload the pic to our challenge album. There is a $15.00 prize for one lucky crafter 😀
OMG this is just gorgeous! I have several of those fancy edge dies and never think to use them ... Guess what I'm going to do today! LOL Thanks for beautiful inspiration ... you never let me down when I need inspired!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful sympathy card, Lena! I love the die-cuts, absolutely gorgeous! Sympathy cards are hard to make at the time when needed so I am sorry to read that you need another one. Surely both cards will bring comfort to the recipients.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I'm sure it brought comfort xoxo
